Portsmouth at home -Plans 21:26 - Sep 3 with 2395 views | Southamptonfan | I have spoken with a few fans already getting worked up about this game, saying they will be getting there at 8am, "welcoming" the bubble etc. So who is going? Are you going early, going to the pub, getting to.the ground, walking around the city? Are you planning to "welcome" the Pompey bubble into Southampton? Or maybe you arn't going to change anything. I won't get much sleep the night before I don't think, so will probably go earlier than normal. [Post edited 3 Sep 21:27]

Portsmouth at home -Plans on 21:40 - Sep 3 with 2312 views | kingslandstand1 | Does anyone know which route they will come to the ground by? Junction 8 and Northam Bridge then down Britannia Rd by the Prince of Wales, or even Itchen Bridge and up Brit Rd? Or even down to the 271 and Millbrook Rd? They'd get a nice welcome either way

I don't know, but I would imagine they won't bring the coaches over the Northam bridge, or down Brittania road near the front if the stadium, because all the Saints fans will be in these areas. I'm thinking they will bring them past ocean village, and into the sterile area where the away fans are now, so that they won't be anywhere near the Northam or the front of the stadium. They will sneak in the back way I would imagine.

Do the road closures update from The Echo give any clues? https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/25426111.southampton-roads-closed-southampton-v

Portsmouth at home -Plans on 22:38 - Sep 3 with 2206 views | saintmark1976 | Given that both clubs and Hampshire Plod have put a great deal of time and effort into segregation I don’t imagine for a moment that there will be any chance of welcoming the bubble coaches. More likely every opportunity for those attempting to do so getting themselves arrested by over zealous inexperienced cops under the provisions of a public order offence of some sort or another. Much better just to stay away from any potential trouble and avoid having years of answering “ Yes” to the question have you any convictions for criminal offences ? on requests for finance/car/house insurance, job applications etc etc.

I will do similar but I will have a pint as well even if it does cost me £7.50 and come in a plastic cup.

Portsmouth at home -Plans on 08:43 - Sep 4 with 1929 views | PatfromPoole | Early National Express bus from Bournemouth due to no trains. In Southampton for just before 9.00am. Probably grab a breakfast somewhere in town, then off to Five Rivers for their 10.00am opening. Good luck to fans if they're doing the pyro thing. It's not for me, but it looks impressive if they get a good crowd doing it.

The engineers are giving out tickets for entry, you need to get them in advance. 5 rivers are open from 10-00 but you need to show home area tickets to get in

Is basic, but the landlord decent bloke is trying to make a go of it after being ripped off for years by breweries, we tend to go in there as a last drink before the game and first drink after the game

If I can I will get to town me usual amount of time before kick off, couple of jars, game and then pub on the way home avoiding the ‘limbs’ brigade. #WeMarchOn [Post edited 5 Sep 7:33]

If you’re a Basingstoke dweller and driving down park up free by The Hobbit pub and walk down. 5 Rivers is en route. Afterwards walk back and miss being stuck in traffic and you’re soon on the M27/M3 and away. I will PM you details.

Cheers, I normally park at the cowherd if I drive down, 30 minute walk to ground. I’m trying to convince the wife to drive me and my son and she can go shopping with my daughter I can then have a few beers and enjoy the victory.
