Twelve Games in what next? 12:03 - Oct 5 with 2785 views | frenzied | So a stunning start…but what do you think the next 12 will bring? I can’t see us maintaining that pace…so… I’d predict 21 points from the 36…a reasonable number to keep us in the top 6 or so Over to you guys..
Twelve Games in what next? on 12:12 - Oct 5 with 2738 views | WhitworthDale | I've got us down for 28 Points based off below. After yesterday, I'm finding it hard to pick games I think we will lose. I'm sure we will, but I don't feel comfortable predicting we will lose based on our performances so far. The two games we have lost, I wouldn't have predicted we would lose, and similarly I would have preducted a win or draw for us v Carlisle, FGR. I think we'll get another 30 points. We'll draw against Scunny, Boreham Wood and York.

Twelve Games in what next? on 18:41 - Oct 5 with 2170 views | Rehsad | On Christmas Day last year both York and Barnet had 48 points from 23 games. FGR were 3rd on 46 but only 22 games. Barnet's second half of the season was therefore better than their first 23 by 6 points. York were remarkably consistent - with 48 points from both sets of 23 games. I think that this year's winners will need a big haul - in excess of the 102 from last year. If we can get past the next 12 games and only drop point in 4 then we will likely be top at Christmas are well placed to win the league. I'm daring to think this way - we are top, with games in hand, we shouldn't be thinking of playoffs. So I'm thinking 54 points from 24 - but I think we may need 106 to win. With 3/4 of the games still to be played though there are a lot of unknowns can come and bite. If we continue to believe though, don't get hit by injuries / recalls and have the weather be kind to us I do think that we can do this.

We absolutely shouldn't be thinking "playoffs" After the backend of last season, anything other than top spot becomes a lottery of nerve and the throw of the dice Were we to maintain our current points-per-game ratio, we'd be looking at 115 points Highly unlikely, but what it means is we can afford a slight decrease in points return and still finish top I can only emphasise again, every damn single point that can be won, robbed, scraped at this stage of the season should be cherished. F*ck the tinkering Let's have no "what ifs", no more Brackleys and no regrets Signed: a bastard [Post edited 5 Oct 19:00]

Twelve Games in what next? on 19:50 - Oct 5 with 2027 views | 442Dale | One thing the start has done is raised expectations, understandably so. Don’t recall any predictions, from Dale fans or otherwise, saw us winning the league but from what we’ve seen both from ourselves and the opposition, it would be silly not to think it’s a real possibility. There will need to be some luck along the way, some clever use of the squad (as witnessed at LWB and between McBride & Barlow) and some calmness when we have a sticky patch to ensure it doesn’t last longer than a couple of games. Another 12 games takes us to 24 played, however by halfway stage was hoping to hit 50 (ie. on track for 100). That would mean 20 points from the next 11 games. Call it 23 from the next 12, which when broken down would be W7, D2, L3. On current form though, we’re looking capable of better than that.

I actually think our most difficult opponent and biggest threat is the weather gods. I'm genuinely concerned that a combination of the weather and pitch could sabotage everything. I have full faith in the players, they can win this league, we've got a great set of lads and the fans have a real connection with them. My confidence in the manager and his coaches is growing, Carlisle and FGR away have answered a few doubts that i had. The weather is a uncontrolable and the pitch isn't fit for purpose, i'm nervous and praying for a dry winter. [Post edited 5 Oct 21:51]

Twelve Games in what next? on 10:32 - Oct 6 with 1431 views | pioneer | I never look further than our next game. Yes we have had a fantastic start but we also know our manager is prone to doing strange things with the line up.
Twelve Games in what next? on 15:43 - Oct 6 with 1151 views | regjenkins | If our pitch may produce issues, the every away game needs to be won or there abouts. Play our strongest eleven always and we won't go far wrong.

Twelve Games in what next? on 17:24 - Oct 6 with 1018 views | Dale_4_Life | 12 league games in and 30 points.. another 11 that will be 23 and the half time review. Best to not look too far ahead but if we can replicate in the next 11 what we have achieved in the opening 12 we will be sitting very nicely indeed.

Not looking to far, the next three games could be telling. In the next three games for those at the top: Borehamwood - York (A) Forest Green (H) Halifax - York (H) Carlisle (A) Forest Green - Borehamwood (H) Carlisle (A) York - Halifax (A) Borehamwood (H) Carlisle - Forest Green (A) Halifax (H) Rochdale - Scunthorpe (H) Scunthorpe- Rochdale (A) If we could win our next three games a real gap could start to open [Post edited 9 Oct 10:45]
