You could say the same about most other clubs in the bottom half of this league, we've got a real downer on ourselves at the moment but there are plenty of reasons to join and help make it better

As an outsider I can say the lure of living and working in London is big. Sure, money talks and we can’t offer a lot, but people take things like that into consideration.
I’m guessing Marti makes a pretty convincing case also.
The loan signings probably see this as low risk also. Its not even 5 months, so they have little to lose given compared to situations they come from.

Agree. He appears to understand what he’s walked into (the madman) but I sensed he’s the sort of professional player that Clive often mentions that we miss out on. Is Marti starting a clean up?

Seems genuine enough. All about leadership in our predicament. Shame its taken the 'powers that be' time to realise that we were massively under-cooked in terms of leadership going into the season.
