Not knowing anything about the premier league cup at all. Were Arsenal,Spurs, Liverpool etc in it?
I deliberately haven't looked!
I was just saying this to a non-QPR friend (I know, I know - I'm sorry!) but I saw a QPR team in a semi-final, it had the name 'Premier' in it, and I deliberately didn't look any deeper.
Why ruin it?

Below are all of the category 1 teams that are involved. I think it's important not to downplay the achievement as all of these teams will have better resources and it's QPR's goal to achieve this status in the next few years.
Ultimately as this cup is optional it looks like some of the big boys have dropped out as they don't fancy their pampered players rocking up at the likes of category 4 Bromley which is a shame. This would probably mirror their sentiment if the EFL cup was optional for the seniors
Category 1 Blackburn Rovers Brighton & Hove Albion Chelsea Derby County Everton Leeds United Leicester City Norwich City Nottingham Forest Reading Southampton Sunderland West Bromwich Albion Wolverhampton Wanderers

One further point about last night. The ref was equally sh*t as any Championship ref.
Midway through the first half there was a bit of niggle between Kieran Morgan and one of their players. It was a heated jostle. But Daniel Bennie came steaming in and went for the perpetrator with both hands (close to the neck). Even with blue and white glasses on, he should have been booked. Nothing given.
Maybe the refs are a bit more lenient at U21 level ?

Someone on here said the final would not be at Loftus Rd. We have never been able to have fans at Brentford’s new ground so we should take big numbers there. I assume we will get a big allocation. Can’t see Brentford selling many.

I went to the Final of this last year between Spuds & The Ruperts. It was at the Cottage. About three and a half thousand turned up. Fulham had won it by half time with a classy hattrick from one of the Osmonds - at least I think that was his name. Wouldn’t mind a game at whatever Brentford’s ground is called. It looks like a pharmaceutical company hq from the outside but has some great pubs by the river nearby.

Why do you think that, Mick?
I'm just curious because you're an experienced head who I respect. Genuinely.
Cheers, Brian.
I think our away support will be a very important factor at Brentford. Obviously, I’ve no clue as to how much of the ground will be open/allocation etc; maybe newbee could help out here?

After McCarthy assigned such profundity to your musings, I can only say the conclusion is somewhat disappointing.
