Assume there will be a clearout this summer and the likes of Talla, Aoraha, Murphy, Shann and Petrie will be let go. Would guess Tuck, Vaughan, Dillon and Esquardinha would be taken away this summer for whoever is manager to have a good look at.

Why do you think Talla, Aoraha, Murphy, Shann and Petrie will be released? I know very little about these lads but Petrie has been on the bench for the last two games and Murphy was on Saturday.

They've only been on the bench because we've got no-one else. They're all in their 20s and, from what I've seen of them, have shown no sign of genuinely breaking through. Tuck, Esquerdinha, Dillon are all at least a year younger and, frankly, look more promising.

Didn't MC sign a long term deal recently? You seem very sure that the club will have a new manager next season

Because they’re all 21/22 and Nourry stated publicly that new policy was you needed to be a first teamer by that age or you need to move on and play. Talla and Murphy both went away last summer and clearly didn’t impress like Morgan and Bennie did. Aoraha will be pushing 23 at the start of next season and is currently playing Conference football. Petrie has had two years at ‘EDS’ level and is only bench filler during an injury crisis and Shann has also had two years here, isn’t even considered for the bench when we only have 1x LB and they just signed Esquardinha as another young LB.

No, there was no contract extension, just a modest pay bump and a significantly higher buyout for the club. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The official announcement of Marti's new contract last September may have been slightly ambiguous, but the media said it was a contract extension. In his following interview, he was asked if he was happy to be "...extending his time at the club" to which he said he was: https://www.qpr.co.uk/videos/0_8deovci7 Are you saying the club and Marti were lying?

Development side . on 08:21 - Apr 1 by derbyhoop | If the injury situation in the first team doesnt improve soon, I can see 1 of the youngsters getting an outing before end of season. Petrie has been on the bench, twice. Harry Murphy joined him at Stoke. But, from what I've read, Sutton is probably the closest. Cian Dillon, who scored twice last night, is on loan to Enfield in Nat League South. I wonder what became of the last striker we signed from Shamrock Rovers? [Post edited 1 Apr 8:24]

We got two million for him and another two million for Dykes . Have they 5 goals between them season ? Beware the curse of promising Irish strikers They don’t end up being very good.

For all the critics of Nourry, getting any fee for Armstrong of Dykes. Near the £2m or no mark was a great bit of business.

I was trying to provoke a debate, as I knew the Armstrong saga. Could Dillon be a future multi million sale? I have no idea but he does seem to have settled fairly well. I agree that most, if not all, the players mentioned above, will be released this Summer. League results for the DS haven't been great. That will happen if you try to fast track 15-18 year olds. Hopefully, that approach will pay off. In time.

Thank you. You seem to know more about the DS than I do and may well be right. I know Aoraha has had a serious injury and missed about a year. Sad for him as he was close to the squad at one stage. I think, Morgan and Bennie both came from a higher standard than any of our others, so you would expect them to be further developed.

If No5 was the trialist, giving away two goals can’t have done much for his confidence or his career! [Post edited 1 Apr 17:21]

Sorry Derby . Being an Irishman and watching them from afar . We’ve never replaced Robbie Keane . Lots have flattered to deceive including Evan Ferguson although I still think he’ll come good . Dillon is spoken of very highly and hopefully he’ll come through for us. The money we got for Armstrong looks like a good deal for us but he’s due a goal and we still have to play Brizzle . Wish I hadn’t said that now.

Pretty sure this topic has been bought up on here only recently. If someone has access to inside knowledge, it is highly unlikely there is going to be any kind of verification process. “Name your source otherwise I won’t believe you”. Easy to say if you aren’t caught up in it, but unless said person wants to betray contacts, relay private conversations, and publicise sources, then it isn’t a reasonable request. So you are left with a choice, believe it, consider it, or ignore it. But no need to keep beating a stick.

Sure I get that. But, if this board allows people to claim inside knowledge and raise serious issues without challenging them, anyone can say anything with impunity. Clearly, lassel is doing just that and that's not right.

It’s not really challenging the information from what I am reading, more berating it. It is overly aggressive, which says more about the accusers, than the sharers. And I don’t mean you specifically DM. Information is being shared with QPR fans in good faith. Either keep an open mind, or ignore it.
