Kolli on his way? 11:12 - Apr 7 with 10357 viewsBeckenhamhoop

These rumours keep coming regarding Kolli. So, stay at QPR for yet another season of drudge or significantly up your wages and live in Monaco?

I agree he doesn't fit the lone striker role but he does fit in as a wide attacker. That's where I saw him play for the DS before he broke through to the senior squad. I know we're overstocked in those positions but that will change.

Yet another question mark over our recruitment - We clearly have a young talented attacking midfielder coming up from the academy so we decide to buy/loan a multitude of players in the same role thereby severely restricting his minutes.

His stock has risen since his injury.
I like him . He’s got a bit of swagger .
Who cares if he tries something and it doesn’t come off .
We don’t create anything anyway .

If we were offerd £4M or £5M for him, you'd take that wouldnt you.

£2M or £3M is a pass.

of course but no one is going to pay that for him at the moment, he's hasn't even started 10 games for us yet

One feels that the amazing return from injury has been well coordinated with the interest….

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Maybe I'm being a bit too happy clappy but the thing QPR did in the midst of the first wave of speculation taking him to France was announce his new contract and interview him about how he sees his future at the club. Don't think they can or need to do more than that and not for every silly bit of agent speculation. He's the best finisher at QPR, has every chance of growing into his body - wouldn't be the first young player to initially struggle with injuries before settling down (Sam Field was a good example of this before he joined us) and hopefully can finish the season strong and push on. He's one of our own and amongst a sea of negativity, lets at least enjoy one positive from this season rather than worry ourselves silly.

If we can get £2m for a footballing nonentity like Armstrong then we could get a fair few more million for Kolli.
If you were twenty years old would your motivation be getting 20 minutes as a substitute against Stockport County (potentially) or living in Monaco getting paid 5x as much.

Armstrong had over 2,000 minutes of championship football, Kolli has 758. The idea that Kolli is currently a multi million pound player is farcical

I agree its mental money, but strikers are worth a premium, and bigger clubs have the funding to take gambles as the link above showed.

I would say a massive sell on clause would be essential.

There is a delicious irony in Nourry now being reliant on Kolli in a key game at the end of the season, given what went on early in the season. I’m sure this isn’t lost on Rayan or his Dad, or most of the squad for what it’s worth.

Indeed there is.

And maybe we would have had a better start to the season had he not been alienated. I suspect he may have started more games ahead of Frey and Celar or played off one of them when Illy was on injury V1.0
