Going to be a hard sludge through the poop tomorrow with a packed away end. Got tickets with the boy, but about 5 rows apart, so may have to stoop to the "we sit where we want" types.
Dreading it.
Feels like a routine 2-0 home win with little more than a whimper from our decimated team with an utterly offensive offence.

Marti Cifuentes. Not directly obviously, but yeah…
It'll do for Nourry quicker than any other decision he makes. I can't remember a manager's name being sung as often as Cifuentes'. It's a catchy number but still: you only sing something that often if there's genuine affection. Last night, I'd say it was 70% Marti's Estrella song, 20% Varane - I just don't think you understand (I'm watching him, and I think I do), 10% misc.
First sign of trouble under a new manager, the Cifuentes song will come out on repeat. And Marti will be held in higher esteem and with more love the further from the club he is. He'll do those interviews Steve W6 says he hates doing, and it'll sink Nourry unless we're flying high under a new guy.

Well nothing is certain at QPR, especially when the club is so prone to wild swings from triumph to disaster, often within a one week period, and driven entirely by fan sentiment.
Nourry wants him gone though and Cifuentes is quite happy to get away from him. People who know more than me believe that there is an agreement on a managed separation this summer, last I heard was that he would resign on his own terms. His agent spent the last international break on maneuvers with other clubs and it feels that it’s really just a case of who ‘wins’ the circumstances of the breakup.
Happy to take a bet on this. I give you £60 if he leaves and you give me £20 if he stays. Bet is off if we go down though.

Just read that Field was taken to hospital after losing consciousness following the blow to his head. Hopefully it's not serious but we won't see him on Saturday.
Jesus.
Here's hoping he's ok.

Yeah that's not good.
I don't know exactly what the protocols are, but even before Field got up and walked to the touchline it seemed fairly clear he wasn't going to continue so I don't know why it took us so long to have a sub prepped to come on for him (and as a result of that delay we conceded).

So with a view to making him think twice about it, what we could do with is a massive show of support for Marti on Saturday, to show that the vast majority of the fan base would hate to see him go. He’s not perfect and he’s made mistakes but I think he’s done wonders to get us probably to a position of safety with the unbalanced and in some cases unsuitable squad he was given plus the appalling injury situation he’s had to deal with.

Marti reacted after the game with a passion I've not seen before. He was bouncing, doing the Klopp rhythmic fist punches to the crowd, and banging his fist to his heart. If stuff has been getting him down, he really didn't show it last night.
Also celebrating with the players when the 3rd went in
I've never seen him so animated and clearly appreciates all the support from the fans .
I personally would be gutted if he left in the summer yes he has his faults like all managers but he seems to get the club.
If he leaves then we as a fan base need really show the powers that be what we think of them and their egos

Well a number of times now Lassel has explained that his wife has a very senior position at Hammarby, is in charge of the finances or something along those lines. He also said that his wife is very good friends with Martis wife or partner I'm not sure if he's actually married, so it appears the information is coming via the ladies, it may be as good friends on WhatsApp who knows.
Apologies if I have got that wrong but like you I was very sceptical initially but a lot of what he says does seem to ring true.....
Bear in mind he also ASSURED us last year that they were DEFINITELY preparing for life in the third tier!

Fair enough, I'm only repeating what has been said previously, as to whether they were preparing for the third tier we will never know, businesses do often explore worst case scenario rather than leave it till it's too late.....

Marti has been looking for players to step into that role of moving that ball from box-to box. I think KD was that guy prior to injury, after trying Andersen and Mads. Then he tried Chair. Dembele showed why he should/could be that guy with the run and perfect pass.
