Midweek away games 01:14 - Apr 10 with 2753 views | E17hoop | With an atmosphere like that, outsinging the opposition for 95% of the game, added time goals, team elevated and delighted. Inject it.

Midweek away games on 02:39 - Apr 10 with 2644 views | nix | Best atmosphere for ages even before we scored. Kevin Gallen must've had his photo taken with most of the 1500... Singing practically all the way through to the obvious bemusement of the stewards. What a celebration at the end. Just brilliant!

Midweek away games on 11:31 - Apr 10 with 1970 views | Noelmc | My first away game this season, when normally I manage 5-7, but I certainly picked the right one. I travelled in hope rather than expectation and hope levels dropped when I saw the team sheet. But we battled hard, took our chances and the collective relief when we scored our third was one of those moments that will stay in my memory for ages. Brilliant support from the fans and a committed performance from all the team. I'd rate everyone with at least a 6 (Madsen's highest of the season for me) and several with 8's. Difficult to pick a MOTM for me with Dunne, Edwards, Morrison, Colback, Varane and Field all in contention. Probably Sam just edges it as our overall performance level dropped when he went off injured. The celebrations at the end were fantastic and a very well deserved reward for all those who travel away regularly.
Midweek away games on 11:35 - Apr 10 with 1940 views | Lblock | My bastard job meant I couldn't go last night. Had booked the afternoon off and everything bought and paid for.... would've been my first away game for ages. Then the real kicker.... Director drops me a message at about 2:00pm saying he could push todays deadline back to next week.... I could've punched him. I dropped off the work to watch the game and glad I did. Away end sounded and looked really good. Just gutted I missed it and an opportunity to stick ground number 87 on my list

Good decision-making. It's usually best not to punch the boss.😉

Midweek away games on 12:52 - Apr 10 with 1676 views | CateLeBonR | I wasn’t there but even watching on the stream, I’m not sure I remember going from being supremely confident of victory to complete nerve jangled jelly belly to Sinton-esque cries of joy, quite so quickly. It wasn’t exactly a microcosm of the season but it was very close and must have been 10 times more at the ground.

Midweek away games on 13:48 - Apr 10 with 1543 views | Northernr | Wonderful afternoon of pubs, and finally a match that didn't spoil the day. Few poster names conspicuous by their absence this morning who I absolutely guarantee we'd have been hearing a lot from today if had finished 3-1 the other way

Yes that's all very strange Clive, isn't it ??? Sometimes, I am sure there are fans on here, masquerading as Rangers fans and they weirdly love our four nil capitulations !! But a solid three one away victory and nowhere to be seen.... Speak up gentlemen, we are missing your wise words of discouragement !!

Midweek away games on 14:17 - Apr 10 with 1410 views | LongsufferingR | Loved every minute from 1 to 101. Atmosphere a lot better than other recent nearby away games even before taking the lead. Soured a bit by the 45 minute stationary wait in the car park before being able to move. Plus the complete absence of anywhere to get something to eat other than inside the ground or bloody Frankie and Benny's. Is it really that difficult to plan for people actually attending games when you build a stadium? Or to build four stands?

I’m glad we parked away from the ground, after advice from losethedrum as the scrum to get out of the car park was a joke.We got straight out on to the A34 and was home in only 3 1/4 hours. My brother said there was an all you eat Chinese close to the sports bar,or maybe part of it?I know it wasn’t far away as he doesn’t do walking. Great night, but why do we have to have a 30 minute heart attack every time we’re winning a game?

We had to leave early to get my mate to the train station (and so missed the third goal!), and seeing all the cars in the car park plus all the traffic cones/lane closures nearby, looked like it was going to be a nightmare getting out after full time!

The cheat sheet if you're on the train is to go and have a beer in the hotel bar round the back of the bowling alley for half an hour. Traffic clears out and reception will order you a cab. Made the 11pm train home with time for a Sainsbury's beer run.

Ah fair enough. My mate was going back to Bristol and didn't have much choice re train times!

Midweek away games on 15:43 - Apr 10 with 1121 views | francisbowles | Mrs FB and himself have become lightweight culture vultures in our retirement. As we did for Cambridge in the cup, we decided to have a couple of days in areas that we hadn't visited before. Three nights in a studio apartment in Burford, which is charming. The only away games we have done this season and two wins. This performance was much the better and if last night had us fearing the worst at 2-1, Cambridge was worse as we were completely hanging on. However, last night did have a lot more riding on it. Really pleased with the players, Madsen finally looked as if he is beginning to get it. Another beautiful slotted shot from our Korean loanee. Varane really interested, determined and loving his song. Marti absolutely delighted, the most emotional I have seen him. It will be difficult to replicate that on Saturday, as it seems Oxford found out last night after their conquest of Sheffield United. Our doubling up on their wingers was fundamental. We are much more relaxed about things now with a seven points gap. It's not done yet but it's much closer.

Pity this was mid week as Oxford is a fantastic place to get drunk but really could not be rrsed with the hassle of getting a train home and getting in at gone midnight ….. instead drive sober and got home at err … gone midnight

One of the days to remember that one. I'd got accidentally pie eyed on Tuesday evening and wasn't in the best shape when meeting Danny Padlocks at 12.30 at some pub in Paddington but was match fit by the time we got to Oxford. Danny had done his homework and got a pub crawl list which we manged to do four of, found out that Danny is not a fan of loud music in pub beer gardens which is ironic given what a loud bastard he is at football match after several whiskies. One of our group had the foresight to have pre booked a cab for 9.40, we saw our third goal, picked ourselves of of the floor and got out, in the cab, Danny got some booze ,10.23 train back, No7 bus home. Plonked into bed at 11.50pm. Cheers Danny, Jerry and Richard. A splendid day. And that enigmatic French bird.....

Haha, nice one! You obviously didn't go to Bournemouth's ground around the start of this century because otherwise, your total would end in .5 When I watched QPR there in 2003/4, there was a mound of earth and a few trees behind one of the goals. A few fans had shinned up the trees and were spectating from within the foliage.
| "Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1." |
