Going to be awks that maybe neither will be with us next season.

Maybe a big announcement about Jimmy tomorrow.

If they don’t do it after the circus this week surely it’ll never happen.

You mean pray that they have such a meltdown that their brains explode and they’re no longer able to dish out the kind of vile abuse directed at Paul Smyth’s family?

One of Cifuentes’ greatest achievements is turning a centre-back none of us would have been bothered losing into our best player in a position nobody would have seen him taking to. Dread to think where we’d be now had we not kept him and got Edwards in.

Very pleased for Jimmy. Fully deserves it. How many times have we had players of the season who then leave the club? There have been quite a few. I truly hope he stays but he may have other ambitions at 27, who knows?

Yes agreed, Nardi has probably done as much as anyone to keep us in this division. I think he is a better all round keeper than Dieng and certainly on par with Smithies.

Never knowingly right.

It would just be so QPR that neither are here next year.

Main reason I started falling in love with QPR was Stanley but Don Givens, a lovely soft spoken Irish man was another . So proud that Jimmy Represents us so well .
Will be gutted if he leaves .
Let’s not kid ourselves. He will never be the greatest full back ever.
However he has a bit of everything and weighs in with a few goals. Rarely loses an aerial
Challenge. That’s down to going In where it hurts .
Never shirks.

Opinions of course, but for mine, Nardi is nowhere near the level of Smithies.

I can't recall Smithies ever throwing himself to the ground in his 6-yard box when barely being impeded by an opponent at corners and claiming that he'd been fouled. He was nowhere near as hesitant as Nardi when coming off his line to claim basic crosses. He was also very adept at saving penalties. All-round higher grade of keeper.

J Dunne was the correct choice for player of the season, followed by Sam Field in my opinion. Nardi gets 6 out of 10 from me for his overall performances this season.

Jimmy deserved it but I didn’t vote for him as it would only increase the likelihood of him being offered a great deal elsewhere.

Don’t understand why Edwards won this vote, a Southampton player who has only been with us a few months, over our own players such as Morrison and Morgan.

Has a loan player ever won one of these awards before?

THrilled for DUnne, he deserved that, been superb last 18 months

I'd have gone Kolli or Morgan for young player but Ronnie is special

With all due respect, Nardi is a very average keeper who has reached an age when he is unlikely to improve. It is only when you see the Swansea keepers dominance of the box ( even in the intimidating presence of Dunne) that you realise Nardi's shortcomings. A very decent shot stopper but that's it. If he hadn't succeeded Berkovic he wouldn't have gotten such a free pass. Personally I would like to see Walsh get a run of games, he is never going to develop on the bench

Nardi a reasonable keeper at this level, no more than that. Hasn’t developed his game to come for crosses or control his area enough, no complaints as he is a great shot stopper but not POTY.

Disagree

Keepers get much better with age and he is nowhere near his peak

Paddy Kenny was 33/34 when he was with us and he was the best keeper in the league at the time.
