Thought he deserved a thread on what is likely to be his last game for us . His form has had some ups and downs but he has given us some brilliant memories . His attitude today was superb and professional . He was screaming at his team mates for more effort today , I looked at the clock 10 seconds of added time to go . Fantastic attitude . Thanks Jim
Whatever Jimmy does he'll be a hero to us at QPR. Would love him to stay and be captain but understand that he deserves a crack higher up the ladder. Top top man. He will be very much missed here.
His attitude today and since he’s been at the club has been first class . I really hope that the news breaks that he had signed a new deal. Not the best footballer I’ve ever seen but we need his type here.
But I’m not holding my breathe or expecting such things from those in charge.
He’s given us far more ups than downs over the course of his time in Hoops. I’d love him to stay but like everyone else can’t see it now. And as stated in the latest Patreon, it seems crazy we’re quibbling with one of our very most influential players - in the best years of his career - over a single additional year to his contract
I hope the Club comes to its senses and puts a decent affordable realistic contract offer on the table and likewise I hope Jimmy Dunne realises that his future is with QPR and not the Premiership where he would get found out whenever he plays, if he plays.....top lad and well done this season.
Absolutely have loved Jimmy's commitment and desire to win, he is exactly the type of player you need in the Championship, I desperately hope we have the budget to offer him a contract but I can't help feeling he's off to pastures new, thanks so much......Jimmy
His goal at LR last season against Birmingham was memorable, a great Man hug moment In the lower loft.
What a goal , I asked if someone could put up the mobile phone sequence taken in Ellerslie west with the crowd going bonkers. Someone kindly obliged but i deleted in error. Anyone got it ?

I was watching on my phone on holiday and went crazy, doing three laps of the pool before jumping in. Luckily I had the sense to drop my phone on the sun lounger before that! What a moment, I wish I’d been there at HQ for it

Probably as good if not better than Zamoras . I have never known such unconfined joy as that moment. Just off the scale . Thanks Jim . You made an Irish man very proud. What makes more proud is the love shown on here for a country man of mine.

Have to agree. It was ludicrous. Although they don't come along very often, moments like that make it so worthwhile.
Charlie Austin last minute (offside) winner against West Brom a few years ago is another that comes to mind.
Stefan Johansen's equaliser in the 3-3 at Reading also a few years back also right up there. Scenes.
Jamie Mackie v Liverpool - further back, Micklewhite last minute to secure the famous 5-5 draw with Newcastle
nice one - I was there for the Newcastle one with my brother who is not a QPR fan for some weird reason. 4-0 down at half time I wanted to leave. He wouldn't let me.

Oh mate, so many left that day - unsurprising when you’re 4-0 down at half-time. I always use that, Port Vale and the Brentford 2-2 as examples to my daughter when she gets the urge to shuffle off!

Gonna have to call you out on the "Not the best footballer I’ve ever seen" quote. He's decent on the ball , reads the game really well. Definitely more comfortable on the wing.
David Webb last minute goal v Stoke in '75.... in those days I stood on the loft and it was unbelievable...
It was nigh on impossible where we stood to see the ball go in the net... we had to rely on the net moving and the other parts of the ground erupting .....

We so nearly equalised against Birmingham that match where we were 4-0 down at half time and then having clawed it back to 4-3, got a penalty at the end that was saved and Wells would have scored the rebound except that their players were encroaching and got there first. We would have been on the pitch I think if we’d equalised!
