We used to pay £84ish.
However, they've now comeback wanting £104 but with all their AI gubbins.
Now, Mrs. PH and I are as interested in AI as we are the club world cup, so we don't need it. Searched on line for how we can just renew with the simple package, but them swines have made it bloody difficult to the point of impossible (well, for us).
I know it's only £20, but it's the effing principle because next year, the swines will hike it up.
Any suggestions from the web wizards on here how to simply get the same effing package. Thanks in advance.

Same with Sky/Virgin etc TV packages. Have to get multiple bundles because they (on purpose IMO) spread the channels people want across multiple packages.

You can renew with the same deal as you had before, they're just being cheeky defaulting to the copilot included bit. It's just not where you expect it. Of course.
Microsoft's own instructions are....
- Visit account.microsoft.com.
- Select the Microsoft 365 subscription you have and select “Manage”.
- Select “Cancel Subscription ”
- View “Switch to a subscription that suits you better” and select “Microsoft 365 Personal /Family Classic”.
After following the instructions to complete your subscription. Your subscription will automatically renew to Classic when its existing subscription expires. |  | | |

This is what we were presented with.
The thing is, Mrs PH is adamant that she navigated her way through the maze two weeks ago and paid for the basic package. We've even re-read our WApp messages saying, 'F. U Gates!' And'My well done, Mrs PH!' But we think the snidey fux didn't take the cash and tried to put us through the ringer.

There is also a good website called sharecostnow
It is a subscription-based service. They take advantage of products that offer a family-based subscription offer. Basically, they sign you up to a subscription with other people, so you get huge discounts. I think the other day they were selling MS365 personal for a year at around £20. To be honest I allowed my subscription to lapse for the same reason.
You can still use Microsoft 365 online for free with most of the apps available but you only get 5GB of storage - which is a lot less than before:

If you don't pay for AI, it generally only refers to all Internet posts up until the last two years.
Pay and it's database includes everything including the last two years just gone.
