Glastonbury 2025 19:18 - Jun 27 with 12699 views | ChrisNW6 | Anyone in attendance? Big Stan Bowles flag spotted at the front for Alanis Morissette. Not the best lineup this year but looking forwards to Rod, Prodigy and Kneecap should be interesting.
Glastonbury 2025 on 07:47 - Jun 29 with 2706 views | scot1963 | Watching from home and I'd not heard of the Nova Twins but they were good live and enjoyed their set. Franz Ferdinand, Wunderhorse and Amyl and the Sniffers all good and caught some of Biffy Clryo. Busta looked like he'd just turned up for the money and I gave up on him early.

Glastonbury 2025 on 10:44 - Jun 29 with 2448 views | SW_Ranger | Enjoyed a few sets so far … Jalen Ngonda was a good start; Wunderhorse were great (got to see their Glasto warm up and they didn’t let down); enjoyed The Blossoms set - slick as always; Loyle Carner, ever the strong wordsmith; Yussef Dayes was incredible, fabulous group of musicians too; Ezra were the crowd pleasers as they always are live (watched them over Green Tea Peng for Mrs SW so need to find GTP’s set now to watch); Gary Numan started of interesting and grew with the set I thought; Beth Gibbons was good too. Ones I want to see… Wet Leg; Fat Fog; and Father John Misty Ones I’m looking forward to today: Cymande; Black Uhuru; Goat; Black Country New Road; The Libertines. The Gurriers might have been nice but they are really early on.

Glastonbury 2025 on 20:56 - Jun 28 by Toast_R | Can I just add on here that I went to see Guns n Roses on Thursdsy at Wembley. The stage was on the Bobby Zamora end. Slash is still a God, possibly better than ever. Axl Rose appears to be in a good place in his life, smiling being the ultimate pro. But his voice has blown. He can do the slow ones beautully but those high end notes in the majority of them, time to start singing them in a way his vocal cords can handle I would suggest. Don't know how these things work, but GnR being in the UK the same week as Glastonbury, should have moved heaven and Earth to get them on the bill. |
Iron Maiden were so much better last night, and louder too.Although I made my way to the exit for their encore and the sound at the back was nowhere near as good. I think I’d give up going to football if I had to deal with that stadium every home game.Luckily I missed most of the queues by being close to the exit as they finished, but I bet it was carnage trying to get back to Stratford later on.

I found their juxtapositional use of sound ambience quite innovatory.

I was thinking the same… seems like a lot of bands these days play with a backing track… There were times when AM moved away from the microphone and yet the vocal volume remained really constant??? Maybe use of a compressor with a really top end microphone??? It did look a bit suspect tho!
Glastonbury 2025 on 18:52 - Jun 29 with 1778 views | derbyhoop | The thing with Glasto is that there is so much variety that anybody should find something they like. And, undoubtedly, something to detest. Just accept it for what it is. A music festival with 100+ acts over the main 3 days.

Glastonbury 2025 on 20:22 - Jun 29 with 1558 views | Monkey_Roots | The flags are a nonsense… 20 people can’t see who’s on stage, but as long as you’ve got your flag up that says ‘Tits’ on it, it’s fine.

Imagine paying £300 to have some selfish bitch on someone’s shoulders in front of you! Just noticed there’s a woman about 65 on someone’s shoulders drooling over Rod, hope for the bloke holding her up she has her “bulky pee pants” on

Glastonbury 2025 on 20:38 - Jun 29 with 1480 views | ted_hendrix | I've tried watching It but I'm struggling with It, the last bit I lasted about 4 minutes of Rod Stewart and in between Rod Stewart appearing on my screen every few seconds they're would be shots of the crowd singing along (up to a point nothing wrong with that I suppose but Seventy Year old Men?) get the fck out of here. I've missed the great Nile Rogers'' so I'm hoping to catch his set later tonight. I was watching Babyshamble for a while but the sound such as It was-was poor so I gave up. It badly needs a 1970's Hawkwind invasion on the stage.

Glastonbury 2025 on 23:26 - Jun 29 with 1120 views | bosh67 | Olivia Rodrigo and Robert Smith doing Cure songs has been a big highlight. Would love to have seen them do the whole Cure back catalogue. Robert is as good as he ever was, if not better. Obviously he's another Ranger. Olivia is only 22 and she's so accomplished... and smoking hot!
