Think it's been noticeable that Varane is suddenly back in every picture and video having disappeared off the face of the earth for much of the summer. Hope to see him get a run tomorrow and play next week.

How many of them are there in the comms department?

Surely you'd stagger when individuals in a department take their holidays to ensure a level of coverage. That's common sense and standard practice anywhere I've worked.

I don’t follow social media accounts but surely normal service resumed with Monday forum, new 1st team kit launch, Varane interview and other through the offy with honouring of Mark Lazarus all in same week. Once season starts the games will produce enough noise on their own

I know he was injured, but imagine that was also a bit of PR protectionism in case those bids got above the threshold. Hope that’s that now, from these pre season performances he’s quickly rising to first name on the team sheet level.
