As i have said, I am not worried in the slightest, we are down a few players, we will definitely get at least 2 or even 3 in before or even earlier than the end of the month now that yates and bianchini have gone.
If we are struggling in 2 months then I will get slightly concerned, there is alot more things in our lives than our football team to worry about, but to some the indy is somewhere to vent and these are only happy when they are unhappy and moaning. | | | |

We’ve only got the last few games to go on and I’ve not been impressed with the style or tactics.
I can forgive not going into 50:50 tackles without conviction or attempts going on=very the bar, wide of the post. But I’m not seeing anything like that. It’s Russyball much of the time. Stop, turn around, pass back. We just aren’t dynamic enough and our playbook is limited.
Of course, we may just be keeping our powder dry and we’ll unleash ourselves on Boro next week but…

I tend to agree with this and I’m normally quite optimistic.
These games are meaningless in terms of results, but you want to see progress through pre season in terms of patterns of play, new players getting used to each other etc. I know we’ve had injuries, but we haven’t really seen that and tactically there has been next to nothing.
I do think we’ll be a different team next week, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t slightly concerned and underwhelmed. | | | |

Not seen anything of these friendlies so I can't comment on them, but I think we all knew that O'brien would be a big loss, everything stems from the midfield and the stronger the midfield is the better, we've brought players in have never played in the Championship, and that could bite us on the arse. |  |

Well that was underwhelming or should I say absolutely awful
Widell and Inoussa are probably regretting coming to us over other offers they probably had ,Widell ,a classy sought after midfielder we were told was put out on the wing and looked lost ,has Sheehan taken a leaf out of Lukeys “square pegs in round holes “ book of tactics because it looked like it , meanwhile Inoussa who looks like he has something about him must be asking himself how Ronald starts before him or even kept him out of the team for over an hour !!
Fulton ,who has been a good servant of the club over the years is sadly at best league 1 level now or maybe lower , slowed play down a la Grimes and should be nowhere near the starting 11 .Once again it was glaring how much we need a
Centre Forward,Cullen does his best but isn’t a championship standard target man and never will be,he’s a second forward at best
I’ll reserve judgement on Burgess until I’ve seen him paired with Cabango and I thought young Parker did his best and certainly wasn’t the worst player on the pitch p
Josh Key gave another non defensive performance and fills me with dread for the coming season , I know people will say it was only a pre season friendly and a meaningless game but we looked so fragile , not knowing how to deal with players who run at us with the ball and tear us apart,nobody seems to put a foot in or use their bodies to compete for the ball , the Ref was a joke it had to be said .
I only hope that wasn’t a true reflection of Sheehans tactics and team management for the season ahead, if it is then we’re in the proverbial! | | | |

A striker? it appears we have an injury before the season starts and only days ago shipped out 2 before getting someone in, yeah ok someones cominin so we are told , will that be the prefered one, or a rush lets get someone if any deal goes pear shape.
