Sheehan Out? Let's all Calm Down. 13:13 - Aug 10 with 1843 views | swansjack84 | Our Pre-season has been uneventful. And the start of the season is what many of us expected. I won't sit here and go through everything that is right or wrong. But I will say this, we are rebuilding and it's not going to suddenly happen overnight. New players who have come in, need time, we have had alot of injuries, plus there are still gaps in the team that need filling. On top of that we have lost alot of experience in the team. It's madness to see so many people already talking about Sheehan to be sacked. Did they get it wrong yesterday, sure. Will he do it again next weekend, maybe. But let's see where we are at in a few months time. Im impatient as the next person and want results but saying we are going to be a team to go down, come on. [Post edited 10 Aug 13:16]

We have a box to box midfielder. Sadly yesterday he was left in the substitutes box until the 71st Minute.

I’d guess it was a desire to play Fulton away against a decent team, especially with Cabango not fit. It worked ok in the first half, but once they took the lead and invited us to come at them we had next to nothing. He’s pragmatic and has to find the balance between not conceding and imposing ourselves on the game. I thought the line up was negative yesterday and I thought the second half was awful, but if we’d hung on for 0-0. I’d have thought it was a great result. It’s fine margins, hopefully he’ll be a bit more adventurous next week,

Appreciate that reply Yep, first half was level although tedious Cabango is a real trooper An outstanding pro

Sheehan Out? Let's all Calm Down. on 17:18 - Aug 10 with 1170 views | ReslovenSwan1 | In the three preseason games and this game Swansea have lost four in a row against two weak teams and failed to score a single goal from open play. One own goal and a Cullen spot kick. They had better wake up and fast. They must play their best team on Tuesday to get some momentum and at least a goal.

Glad to see at least you are maintaining form. One league match. Maybe Sheff Utd should start planning for League 1 after yesterday ? Honestly cannot believe. You are the epitomy of Frazer from Dad's Army - "We're doomed !! Doomed I tell ye! "

Exeter Cheltenham Lorient Boro. No goal from any player except Cullen from a penalty. Swansea were puttin g Exeter away 5 or 6 under Cooper I recall. It was the last game for Swansea for McBurney and CBR. CBR missed a header and Cooper had seen enough and gave him a free.

So you're upbeat and sanguine as things stand , hoping things change, hoping we get a striker in , hoping our goalkeepers doesn't get injured Fraser was right

if things don't improve it is because the current regime are having to tidy up the mistakes of the previous regime dating back to Summer 2016. One bad transfer window = two/three years of pain.

This is true, the last lot bought so much crap we are not going to turn it around in one window. Particularly when they left us on the limit with PSR and little comercial revenue.

FYI we scored 3 goals against exeter, all were legal but disallowed by a ref who was on the testimonial committee for one of exeters players, very dodgy.

Sheehan Out? Let's all Calm Down. on 20:04 - Aug 10 with 843 views | RuDeMan1970 | Totally agree. And I’m usually one of the most pessimistic Swans fans around! One game played, a 1-0 defeat in a game in which IMHO a draw would’ve been a fair result. Let’s have some perspective and see how we’re playing and where we are in the table after ten matches 👍

The 0-0 bit seems to be the problem. We went to Middlesboro to play for the 0-0. There was no Plan 'B'. Once we went behind it was game over. Sheehan's interview after the game all but confirmed it. It wasn't long ago that we went to Elland Road with an attacking mindset and came away with a 2-2 draw. I'm not sure where this new, negative mentality has come from, but it needs to be shown the door and quickly.

Swansea need a Laudrup type manager. Sheehan will soon be gone unless he changes his approach. 10 years ago I looked at the QPR game and looked at it the same way i looked at yesterdays Boro game. I was so wrong. There was an explosion of skill craft and pace. Swansea could employ an Modric associate to keep the job warm for him next season. Modric is the walking example of a Laudrup type figure.

Different players different manager ,different times, different conditions but strangely the same garbage from you .I have feeling it's going to be a long season if you keep posting this same .

Yes I agree completely. While it would have been a great result, I hate managers setting up for it, even more so when they don’t have an answer when we go behind. He did it once or twice last season. Derby at home I think, we ended up winning 1-0, but he set up just to cancel the game out and Eom ended up scoring from our only real attack. I do think he’ll get it right quickly though. He did exceptionally last season and he’s got a stronger squad now.

Morning First of all , as was the case with Lukey, we can't afford to sack him ! It's baffling Last season he saved our skin and turned the performances around Without doubt, players signed up for him and he deservedly got the gig He got players in early We had a pre season where we showed no pattern, no style and little commitment Friendlies , contrary to what some say , are not meaningless , at least they shouldn't be With Fulton starting and directing passes sideways , safely, it was obvious we had no Smbition to win merely to hang on and hope Fans won't take that for long Widdle looks very keen as does Galbraith Not to start Widdle was criminal This is going to be a very tough team and those saying let's see where we are after ten matches are missing the point Finally , his interviews portray a decent chap and a humble and one It's probably why I'm uneasy but I was with Cooper,Rusty and Lukey Bloody football is back
