Swansea City v Watford : Match day thread on 10:27 - Aug 18 with 497 views | felixstowe_jack | Just hope we get more fans. We have won 8 out of our last 11 home matches since Sheehan took over. Let us support the team and new manager/coach. [Post edited 18 Aug 10:28]

Swansea City v Watford : Match day thread on 17:19 - Aug 18 with 252 views | Dr_Winston | Could be an interesting marker as to where we currently stand. If we've got serious ambitions of mounting a proper promotion push then games like Watford at home are where we need to be picking up three points (no doubt they'd be thinking the same if we were playing there this weekend). I think given their current difficulties and our obvious need for more minutes to aid the team in "jellying" I'd prefer to be facing Sheff Wed away first of our two next fixtures, but a win on Sat would present us with an excellent chance of winning three out of our first four. Which, given the apparent difficulty of our start according to some stats wonks and the hysterical nonsense that followed Middlesbrough, would be very decent going indeed.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I don't think we can judge where we are yet. Personally I will judge if and when we get a striker in, it will make a massive difference to our season either way. Currently we are just treading water upfront.
Swansea City v Watford : Match day thread on 17:31 - Aug 18 with 196 views | Fireboy2 | Hopefully we will have this elusive striker in before Saturday, then he can come on off the bench, he will be far better than the robot. If we carry on with the way we played on Saturday, especially the second half, they wont live with us.

Come off it, it’s 3 days since a prospective signing had his medical and no sign of him on the OS😂. Can’t see a striker here before then but please prove me wrong🙏
