I don't know who the statement will be aimed at because the National League and every team that wins today wont give a rats arse about what McNulty thinks. Taking care of business is what today is about, its all about winning. It will be interesting to see how many changes, York, Carlisle, Southend make today. Football has changed, people have changed. Playing Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday and Monday is a big ask. We have a big squad so why not use it? There are enough players on the bench who can come on and make an impact and the starting line up has enough quality to take care of business.

Why not even give the first 11 half a game each then split over the 2 halfs instead of such massive changes all at once, it will be disjointed all over the pitch most of all in the net, for me its a massive gamble we dont even need to be taking, and if anyone tells me the keeper needs a 'rest' thats nothing short of embarrassing.
After the run we're currently on and the confidence that's clearly running through the team I sincerely hope for Jim's sake he pulls this one off. | | | |

After the best start in years, and following one of the best performances in years, he changes the entire team? An extreme reaction to the fixture list, when maybe fewer changes would be more responsible an action? Both McNulty and East have mentioned EEL's injury from last season in interview's last week so its obviously the narrative they are going with that 2 games in 3 days is an issue. My first reaction was that this would never be allowed in the NL Cup or EFL Trophy for example and it’s a bit disrespectful to Brackley.
Having said that it’s ruined their manager’s game plan and their pre match prep yesterday!
We’ll have to see how it pans out; lose and this thread will be up to six pages by teatime.

💯 right. McNulty may have assembled a great squad and had a good start but this debacle is utterly unacceptable and the club should refund everyone that went and spent money. It’s not only incredible arrogant (Doubt they needed a team talk) but it’s childish and pathetic. 3 changes or even 4 ok. Why rest a striker who has 3 in 3, why rest the keeper, why everything in fact.
Its actions like this and his stubborn mentality that cost us last season and 4 games in he does it again. Should fine himself 2 weeks wages!!!!!! |  |

Turned 2 weeks of praise into a negative match thread thanks to one of the more gormless decisions I have seen any manager make in such a situation.
Really need a good win on Monday & the negativity will die down. Jim has had a lot of praise in the last 2 weeks but needs the finger pointed directly at him for today's debacle. Of he admits he got it wrong in the interview he will save some face but I am not sure he will. |  | | |
