Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report 02:50 - Aug 25 with 10698 views | Northernr | Look, I'm obviously struggling with QPR at the moment. I'm also struggling with the amount of anonymous accounts all weirdly parroting the same lines and branding honest home and away QPR fans like me "dinosaurs" "a cancer on the club" "mentally ill" "old farts". I went and did something else with my weekend this week, because I wondered if yesterday might go as it did and I couldn't face it. Sadly I was right. Jamie Perry is half my age, does every game home and away, and is the most lovely, placid, good natured boy you could wish to meet. I gave the match report to him and, look, if he feels like this, if Jamie Perry feels like this... Thank you, Jamie, for filling in this week... https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/64679/coventry-cit

Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 18:23 - Aug 25 with 814 views | queensparker | Chin up NorthernR, it’s always darkest before dawn. Sorry to hear I deleted my Twitter account a year ago despite it being part of my working life and it was the best thing I’ve done in a while, it meant missing out on a few things but that place had become genuinely dark and sinister. From a place I enjoyed connecting with like minded souls 15 years ago to today’s cesspit of propaganda and anger and cowardly anonymous nerds with genuine issues. If it’s an option I’d bin it off, you don’t need it. Stick with the 2003 tech on here 😉
Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 18:41 - Aug 25 with 741 views | Raistlin | A long time ago, in a QPR universe far, far away, I used to post under this name on the old .Org board. I’ve read and lurked on this board for many years; blimey, I remember when Clive started it! I’ve created this account, under this name again, to come out in support of Clive. We only met once I think, a very long time ago, but stick with it fella. The work you do and the reports you write mean a lot to many, many people; don’t let people get you down. Those of us of a certain age, remember the Tommy Nintendo era on .Org and the shite Dave went through. Rise above mate as the bulk of QPR fans know what the club means to you, and what you do for the club. I was the same as you this weekend; I knew we were going to lose I told my son that during the week. It’s taken me until today to even look at the forum as I knew it would be in meltdown. The way we lost in not good and unacceptable, but due to blind faith or just pure stupidity, I still believe 1) the new manager needs more time before he’s written off and 2) that things will improve. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong but it’s far too early to doom monger. If people want to call me an old fart and a dinosaur as well then so be it. I’m not the fresh faced, probably internet naïve bloke I was back in the 90’s when I used to post, but I intend to post more again now. If Raistlin can come back from the dead, you Clive, can know that some other old farts have got your back. My Prediction last week was that we would lose to Coventry and beat Charlton, and that is what I still believe.
Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 18:44 - Aug 25 with 731 views | AgedR | I go less than I should for the club, but more than is good for my health. One thing I do appreciate is the, frankly brilliant, writing that you give us Clive. And that’s not a back handed dig at Jamie, as it was a first class report about an absolute shambles of a football club. Thanks Clive, do what you need to do. And thanks Jamie too.

Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 20:17 - Aug 25 with 560 views | thehat | Thanks Jamie great report. Been to Coventry a few times in recent seasons but no way was I going Saturday. It’s an absolute disgrace the fitness levels of these players compared to other clubs and no way was I going to spend my hard earned watching that shambles. I very nearly didn’t renew our season tickets this year too and now wish I hadn’t. Anyway don’t let the numpties grind you down Clive especially on Twitter. Your articles and reports bring so much joy especially in tough times.

Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 12:01 - Aug 25 by alexferguson60 | Twitter's a horrible place. Haven't used it for months now and my mental health has vastly improved. |
In the words of Peter Mannion it's like opening a door to a room where everyone tells you how shit you are. Fùcking cesspit. Excellent report Jamie. Whenever we're on the end of this type of gob-bumming (and we'll have 3 or 4 a season) I try and write a draft match report to see how my view stacks up with Clive's or guests like your good self. I got no further than a paragraph here, almost every other word was an expletive and would have certainly resulted in this site being age-gated. Fair play to you.
Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 20:52 - Aug 25 with 493 views | Hayesender | I've just got round to watching the goals back. It did make me chuckle when Kone grabbed the ball and ran back to the centre circle. Come on lads, another six we get a point

Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 07:23 - Aug 25 by stevec | And golf Clive, golf. Every 18 holes completed is a life lesson. As for Dinosaur, old fart. Revel in it. Means you’ve been round the block, seen it all. Laugh at all the bollocks they come out with. That’s what I do. Anyway, keep well. |
Agree with this - Golf. Golf. Golf. The best pastime to get away from it all. Much more to life than QPR but, no matter what happens and what we all do, we're all still QPR. Take it easy fella and take some time to do some things you enjoy. [Post edited 25 Aug 20:57]

We'll survive if we don't have a rundown of the ref on Saturday or if someone else subs the reports. Get yourself better.

I was enjoying this hot and dry summer ...then the football started 😉Maninblack you have perfectly summed up my feelings about our club... but much better than I could of. Best wishes to you too. |

Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 22:51 - Aug 25 with 169 views | Noelmc | Great report Jamie. Clive could easily have passed it off as one of his own, which is high praise indeed. Look after yourself Clive, take all the time you need to ensure your health is ok. The vast majority of the fanbase are in tune with your views, bur we don't always have the loudest voices. A tough time to be an R's fan at the moment but we will all be around long after Nourry, Williams etc.
Coventry City 7 Queens Park Rangers 1 – Report on 00:55 - Aug 26 with 29 views | extratimeR | Clive Top priority is to take care of yourself, you have done a great job for a very long time, the next six months looks like a very tough/ bad time for us , and anyone who genuinely cares for the club, you have done great things for us over the years, time to step back for a while. Cheers Clive!
