Call me anti Scottish if you like, but it's really anti the two Glasgow clubs.

I'm sure Russell Martin is a lovely bloke, but I'm really enjoying just how shi t Rangers are at the moment. Partly because his footballing philosophy is boring, but mainly because it's funny watching a club which has 'Simply the best' as it's anthem, struggling against Dundee and getting smashed 6-0 after 50 minutes in Belgium. Hopefully we may be returning to a time when possession stats aren't the number one thing taken into consideration when appointing a head coach. |  |

Watching the "Old Frim" crash out of Europe in the middle of August in farcical circumstances is one of the great times of the footballing year. |
Watching them blame the "diddy" clubs that they have to play in Scotland, for not giving them enough competitive matches is the usual whinge, but Rangers can't really claim that this year having failed to beat Dundee, Motherwell, and St Mirren.
It's a funny world where you spend decades poaching the best players from the competition, often to just sit them on your bench, and then complain that no-one can give you a decent game.
Once you get away from the Old Firm, there's a lot to like about Scottish football. Some great, atmospheric, and quirky/dilapidated grounds, that are a nice break from Stoke/Saints/Boro etc. | |

Glad you enjoyed them - I watched a few too when I remembered they were on. As you say, not the greatest in terms of technique, but quite a few derbies, old school grounds under the lights with a decent atmosphere, and teams going at it.
Arbroath, Ayr, and Raith are on my list of grounds I have to get to at some point. Would love to see this mad stand at some point too:
