Feeling p!ssed off this morning to be honest. Bournemouth won at Spurs, great, committed performance despite selling lots of players, and bringing in new players. Pompey above us for the first time in 10 years. Our players being fitter under Will Still? Do us a favour. They always seem to be ill with stomach problems. Do they need to check the club chef too? Or does he let them drink to the early hours. He doesn't seem the strict type.
Our fans seem okay with this. It's okay, be positive, don't be negative, support the team. They will still be politely clapped off if Pompey go.5 points clear of us, won't they
It's all fine doesn't matter. A once proud, consistent PL club, going backwards it seems. We used to be the top club in the south and proud. Long gone are those days and for many it's okay, doesn't matter. Where is the passion for this club?
Yes, it's early days, but sort it out Saints. It's been a very poor start.

It wasn't a delusion at all. We were the top team on the south coast for most of my lifetime, above the others in the league. We also have the biggest fanbase. Even in the all-time attendance table, which includes the period when we had a small capacity at the Dell, we are well above all the other south coast clubs.
What is true is that for a club of our size, we are, in terms of trophies won, arguably, the most underachieving club in the country. Most clubs of our size, and some smaller ones as well, have won 4 or 5 major trophies or more.
A lot depends on luck with owners and, currently, Sport Republic are running us into the ground with their incompetence.

Serious question - does Dragan et al (Sport Republic) have any targets or strategy set to get Saints where ‘they’ want the club to be? Do they want us back in the top flight or is that simply an added bonus? One must not question the fanzones (or this new soft play area they want) as all we get are ‘we must find ways to generate revenue in order to improve what we can spend under PSR rules’. I mean, come off it, what income the Gulags bring in probably equates to one players wage for the month.
Forgot all this shït, we need to go back to basics of what Southampton FC should be all about - running and getting the first team back to where we have been for a large portion of my existence, ‘the Top Flight’.
Get slated for this, but we are a basket case under these muppets.

We have/are becoming a championship team whether we're ok with it or not.
Sports Republic have taken an established premier league club and made it much much worse in footballing terms. I have no belief that the people making the big decisions on football will suddenly start getting it right now. Until they bugger off we are in purgatory.
I didn't go yesterday but I watched the Chelsea v Fulham game yesterday and VAR once again favouring the bigger club, I can't say I long for us to return to the premier league to suffer that once more either.
With regards to the football, the start of the season has been quite poor in my opinion. 2 late goals against a newly promoted team giving us our only 3 points so far. Let's see where we are after 10 games though, transfer window shut, new signings bedded in... |  |

It makes no sense. If we went down again, would we just say, we had a bad year, it's all okay, we can't just turn it around that quickly. Then in league 2? Never mind that we have fallen so far. It's not a problem, nobody minds.

Totally agree, like the City itself, a place with low aspiration, when all those ships dock we do nothing to keep them within the City, what the f**k is there to do for an international tourist? We don't have a conference centre for large bands, no monuments or totems that unite the City, its one shit gaff when compared to cities the same size. I'll defend it to the hilt when outsiders say its bollocks but it is.

A day out at the funfair and then an attitude of oh well, who cares, doesn't matter, not to worry, it's only football, we've had a good day out, and lost again but get behind the lads, I've enjoyed a burger and a pint and some music in the fan zone.
Personally, I go to watch Saints win, nothing else matters. I could watch them sat on a dusty bench, if it meant they won the game. Too much focus on entertainment and enjoying the funfair as you say.
