Swansea City v Hull City : Match day thread 16:14 - Sep 9 with 6153 viewsModeratorC

Despite certain folk believing Oli McBurnie would return to the Swansea,City this summer, it was never going to happen. He will almost certainly be there this Saturday in a Hull City shirt.Theres a six game block until the next international break in October.

Adam Idah in a race for fitness after returning from international duty..
Stamenić is yet to be determined, awaiting for disclosures on his injury.

I don't think I'd drop Ronald to the bench , he's been pretty decent so far and I'd keep Inoussa for the second half when legs are tiring

Didnt Inoussa play the majority game against sheff weds?

Yes, they were on opposite wings. I’d start them both and potentially bring Benson on later.

I’ve been told he already had an abductor issue and it was just a minor reoccurrence and was brought back as a precaution.

Definitely out of this game.

Yep, stated as a groin injury.

I await the usual moaner moaning about international fixtures when he picked up the injury at the Sheffield Weds game.

Lucky we have galbraith and yalcouye who can play defensive midfield.

Swans wait on Stamenic after midfielder's wasted journey - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cjw7d4wg1jgo

Abductor injury.

Grade 1 strain typically heals in 1-2 weeks, a Grade 2 strain in 3-6 weeks, and a Grade 3 (severe) strain can take 4 months or more to fully recover.

I had cramp in my left Abductor whilst in bed about 2 months ago and I still got some discomfort from it, worst cramp pain I've ever had I stretch and exercise my legs most days now, they say the older you get the worse the leg strength gets so its worth doing some stretches every other day at least, I've a mostly busy and energetic job, but it's not enough.

Mcburnie will score (if he’s fit) for sure

I’d ignore him Ed
Look at all the time you’re wasting
Looking for a good thing to come along

Meanwhile , some moan about evennthevyhoughtbif sending an ambulance injured player to the other side of the world only to drag him back

Don’t walk under any ladders

Cramp is a bitch. Ive been looking at different forms of exercise including Tai Chi, Chai latte and chair yoga. Any tips are taken on board. I have been asked to play football on a Tuesday night but, at my age, that is heart attack territory surely?

J
I went to the Gym until Zi was 70 when Covid struck
I haven’t been back as I was just going through the motions
My daughter had her own PT business and she was a great advocate of stretching before doing anything
Cycling is good although it can raise your PSA if you ever have it tested
Running is tough on the joints
Best is swimming
I’m lucky in being a strong ( still) swimmer and we go twice a week
Not the 100 lengths I used to do but a decent 32 at a good lick
Time yourself
It keeps joints supple without strain
Just swim until you get puffed , rest a bit then go again
Don’t just amble about gabbing as some do
Finally , don’t breaststroke as it’s too tempting simply cruise
It’s front crawl or back stroke for me anyway

And doubly finally , do it early morning as it’ll set you up for the day

R

My missus did have a heart attack in the pool last ZJuky but it wasn’t due to swimming itself .
Biggest danger of football is that your body can’t do what it could

I do the same thing 👍 It contains 'quinine' which used to be in the tablets prescribed for cramp. For some reason they stopped prescribing them.🤷‍♂️

The pools are on the other side of Swansea apart from the "Olympic Pool" so so too much hassle at the moment. Front crawl is my preferred stroke but I'm having so many problems with my ears, even with earplugs, that most recent swims have all been breast stroke.

Tonic water sounds like a good plan though that might add to my overnight visits to the loo.

Improve leg strength JL regular stretches help, I do total body stretches no set pattern just move your limbs swing arms, stand up straight against a wall and lower yourself into a sitting position and hold it for as long as you can, note the time and try and improve on the time.
loads of stuff on YT.

Just got back from doc's, I stopped taking my BP and Statin tabs Bp was 120 over 90, the 90 is a bit high but exercise will improve that, bottom of my legs and feet were getting puffy so I stopped the pills, all good now, cutting back on ale has helped, 3/4 pints instead of 8 or 10 or more on a Saturday, I'd rather have a glass or two of a nice red wine.

Just dialogue between fans who love the club even though they have differing views
Try it
Don’t assume you will reach old age as you see it
I don’t therapy visits to such Homes
Recently ,we were introduced to a lady who caught Parkinson’s at 52 then had a stroke
She’s a terrible sight
I don’t like jobs at old people and your post was ill judged
