| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Swansea City v Nottingham Forest : Match day thread on 12:05 - Sep 15 with 5500 views | theloneranger | *** If the match wasn't hard enough!! ... *** "Robert Madley *** - will be the man in the middle for Swansea City’s Carabao Cup third-round clash against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night (8pm). It is the first time the West Yorkshire official has taken charge of a Swans game since a Championship fixture against Preston in December 2023. That was one of three Swansea fixtures he oversaw that season, having also had the whistle for home draws against Coventry and Sunderland. Madley is a vastly experienced referee, he first officiated in the EFL in 2010 and was a Premier League officials between 2013 and 2018, and returned to refereeing in the top-flight in 2022. On Wednesday, Madley will be assisted by Mark Russell and Matthew Smith. Ollie Yates will be the fourth official."

The club have handled this poorly. £20 instead of £10 in the previous rounds.

Forest are not the pull they expected, particularly as its live on Sky the only cup game on the night. Plus the weather is atrocious at the moment and 8pm on a school night for kids is often difficult. Saying that I'm going.

The buck stops with Tom Gorringe. The price structure for this game is wrong. It should be £10.

Plenty of European games on at the same time. Bayern Munich v Chelsea and Liverpool v Athletico Madrid will see plenty glued to the TV instead of at the game.

But the question is would they get more than twice the amount coming if it were £10 per head. I’d doubt it so from an economical standpoint it makes sense. The ‘looking after the fans’ argument is a different matter.

But they will have the TV revenue to easily make up for it. A poor decision in my opinion...

You'd need more than double, because of the extra costs involved in issuing double the amount of tickets, extra stewards, turnstile operators, etc. I think £20 is way to cheap. The hospitality is sold out at £85, so money is not the issue.
