I really think we should grow up and move past the incessant goading and insulting of the former England and Chelsea player, and disabled car space filling pr*ck John Terry!
I beat Iwan Thomas in the Reading half marathon a good few years back. Ran him down and overtook him with about a mile to go. Obviously he had no idea we were racing each other

This thread reminds me of the old gag 'How do you know if someone has run a marathon? They tell you within 5 minutes of meeting them'
Not a pop at you Kingsbury - I've run a few in my time and know this to be true, cos I have been that person. In fact, that last sentence proves the point!

If you're not already part of it, feel free to join the QPR Runners group on Facebook/Strava. We're a relatively small bunch, but all QPR fans who run and share our exploits. There's even QPR Runners kit, a "home" and "away" version (Dennis the Menace of course!)

You'd expect someone like Terry to go well under two hours.
I beat Australian boxer Harry Garside in a 10km a couple of months ago. Can only assume he was taking it very easy!
I thought the same considering he's an ex-pro footballer and only in his forties. I'm nearly 20 years older than him and would expect to be much quicker than that.
In my first ever marathon Paula Radcliffe was nearly three hours quicker than me, more embarrassing, though, was being overtaken by Frank Bruno...
