The same plaaay-ers Marti consistently insists he 'trusts' and has signed off on several times in multiple media from last summer. He's as much implicated in our dodgy recruitment as Nourry or anyone, and I think his management has shown again and again he doesn't understand the resilience, physicality and canniness needed for the Champ. |  |

Currently it’s strikers, before that it was midfielders and central defenders. We even managed to burn through 4 ‘keepers not that long ago !!!
And it’s not always the ones we buy pre-injured either - some of them manage to do it all at QPR. Outstanding.

Dunne was @ Man United maybe from age of 15 to 19,
Regardless of their current plight you don't stick around there for 4 years if you're not a fairly skilled footballer with good technique,
I think b'cos he's a unit with a fairly ungainly gait his footballing ability is overlooked, not at Dickie levels of technical ability but he can play with both feet, use his body well, is good in the air and....

Wasn't it that luminary, Steve Bruce, who once stated that a team is only as good as its strikers? That is very true as we have seen first hand that since coming down from the Premiership we have spent nearly every season in the bottom half of the Championship as a result of goal shy strikers. This season we have taken it to new depths with goal shy strikers unfit to play. Unless we crack that massive problem, all I can see is seasons of struggle ahead. |  | | |
