A win here and we can look on the relegation battle with disdain.

This is why you don’t hold the competition before the season’s ended.

It was reminiscent of a Ronaldo strike (CR7 version).

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

I kept thinking Marti was making too many changes in the second half. What do I know!?

We were by far the better footballing side. Preston were…..dull. A team of nothingness. Imagine watching that week after week. We could be accused of being southern softies against horrible teams like this but class told in the end.

WOW! Great strike from Andersen, that'll do!

Eze would've done better.

Poll: Kitchen threads or polls?

I’m on Salt Spring island for a couple of days - most of the island heard my roar when that winner went in.

After a strange and disappointing season I am so pleased for Andersen.

Great team performance from the lads, well up for the fight once again.

Urrrssss!

Laid up in hospital ladies ward) with a broken hip (now fixed) frightened the life out of the other patients when Andersen's goal went in. 😂

Really good performance throughout the match, Another good game from Madsen with some beautiful through balls. Delighted for Anderson that was some worldy. Dunne back to his best. Colback MOTM for me (just maybe there might be another season in him for the right price). Just on Edwards my old man lives down that way and knows a lot of Southampton fans apparently they are planning to build their side around him, which tbh is fair enough. Outstandingng again today

What a brilliant goal to win a dominant second half, the match and confirm survival!

Frustrated at half time to concede and not play too bad. Yang with 2 or 3 good opportunities and playing ok. Not great but creating chances .
I really hope we see Saito again . Looks like a collar bone or shoulder .
But I actually thought Kolli changed the game . Hear me out 🤣
Still going for glory from stupid distances which is frustrating but his hold up play and bringing others into the game was so much better than we’ve seen for a while . But it kept us the ball and enabled us to play . All round impressive display apart from their goal .Edward’s loses his man and is punished , but that aside he was great again .

At the time I thought taking Ashby and Madsen off was an error as I thought they were contributing well but what do I know. Great finish from Frey and they have gone with the goal of the season comp to early . I shouted “hit it “ when Andersen took a couple of strides forward as it opened up and boy did he !! What a strike !!!

Love it . Absolutely chuffed !!

He looks up and then hits the ball where he just looked.

Just superb.

Great goal to win the game & fully deserved but shame about Saito

Completely deserved.

I was expecting an end of season bore, but it wasn't. We played some nice football at times, with Colback & varane bossing the midfield.

Did my eyes deceive me or did putting two up front scare the living daylights out of Preston?

Great result, great goals and safety with three games still to go. A whole new experience.

Well done Rangers, now let’s go for top half.

Won our last two away games and drew our last two home.

Being picky I’d have liked it the other way around but I guess the fans who travel away deserve it.
