hahahaha! I'm pretty sure Andersen wouldn't look too out of place on Salt Spring - I live nearby in Victoria, BC

Yeah. After living there for four years, I can attest that the Andersen lookalikes are manifold. I doubt any can place a ball like can though.

Not Arthur 'Pee Pants' Benderson? I thought he went out of business.

Just back at the hotel in Blackpool and what an afternoon that was.

Said yesterday I was pretty much not bothered about today... by that has changed!!!

I thought we were really good today. Even in that first half we looked the better team. Yang had 3 good chances, and though he never put one away, he led that line really well. The defence also look really good, and been reading the thread who thought that Lindsay was left, I just felt it was a really good cross....

A real downer on Saito though... but the highlight of that half was Madesn, some of his passing and tou che's were poetry.

Second half were move up a gear from decent to good. We fought for everything, and mostly won it... varane and Colback were immense, and in all honesty we could not follow what formation we were playing... Edwards I would donate my right knacker to keep that lad, he is absolute class

Great to see Fray score, though I felt the keeper should have done better. But then the orgasm moment. What I really liked about today was, we could have sheathed swords and walked away 1-1, but we kept at them.

When Andersen picked that ball up, my nephew was shouting, "don't shoot from there, lay it...... YYYYYEESSSSSS ....in my bloody ear as well

The whole place exploded ... and what a great celebration by the team and Andersen with us the fans....

God I slate us sometimes out of frustration, but tonight I'm just in the oldest football cliche "over the moon"

What a day.... what a performance... what a goal....

When Andersen picked up the ball I screamed Don't Shoooot. Glad he did. Imagine if one of ours had given them the ball the way their number 10 passed it to Andersen. We'd have been going mental.

Madsen and Ashby both played well. I guess Ashby is on a five game trial to see if he's worth keeping in next season. Two decent games so far. I imagine he'll play again on Monday even if Paal is fit to play.

Colback was superb and although Ronnie gets most of the attention, Morrison is just so composed. Praying he can stay fit next season as he's a hell of a player.

Really like Frey and Kolli upfront. Seem to get a lot of movement and opportunities. Kolli is good at holding the ball up and getting things going, Frey in the box.

Finding it hard to believe on today's evidence how Preston had been unbeaten at home since 2 November in the league. The sort of home record I would like to see from us. Typically for us, we concede just before half time and it was the scorer's first of the season. Of course...

Again, typical of us, we stop winning at home and start winning away. Oh well no doubt it will all be the same next season in the Championship.

It’s been said a couple of times on this forum, but the first manager to have the bollocks to play 442 in the Championship is going to make a killing.

An impressive three negatives from two short paragraphs on an away win.

Merely highlighting the fact how difficult we find it to win at home then away then at home then away. We have a tendency to follow up a good away win with a disappointing home display. Whilst we may be happy about today, it has still been a hard watch for much of the season.

Really good performance throughout the match, Another good game from Madsen with some beautiful through balls. Delighted for Anderson that was some worldy. Dunne back to his best. Colback MOTM for me (just maybe there might be another season in him for the right price). Just on Edwards my old man lives down that way and knows a lot of Southampton fans apparently they are planning to build their side around him, which tbh is fair enough. Outstandingng again today

I thought Colback was immense today, lost count of the number of tackles he won in midfield and was still getting forward at the end. Hope we can agree another year with him.

Think it’s great that a number of our most slagged off players have been so involved in the last month during our improved run, credit to Marti for sticking with them. Madsen, Ashby and Andersen have all contributed and made a difference.

Ashby, Madsen, Colback and Andersen have all made a good case for being retained for next season's play off push.

Absolutely buzzing! I just love it when we win and even more so when it’s a last minute screamer. I really like Andersen’s style of play and have been really disappointed with his dip in form, so to see him grab the winner was fantastic. Having said that, I must give Frey his credit, also a lovely goal.

MOTM was Colback. A brilliant performance.

Madsen gets an honourable mention for his sublime first time ball to Min-Hyeok. A lovely bit of football.
