There would need to be proviso's and be interviewed firstly by a committee from this forum (well, we all know how to run the club both on and off the field) and get a committment re financial input (from his non-dom wife)

Would he fill two roles if he did? Both owner and the fan on the board?
That’s a good point, he could do both roles.
He should get the outgoing SR’s approval as he has embraced failure by publicly admitttimg as much on the opening day of the new parliament under the current government.
One proviso: he doesn’t bring Kamikaze Kwartang in as Finance Director 😮
And finally, he can have my daughter’s car booster seat to use in the Directors Box as she’s outgrown it.

The Sunak's are not that rich (or that stupid)
Rishi may not be wealthy enough to take control of Saints (albeit his wife is worth around £600m and a minor shareholder in Infosys) Her father is still a major shareholder in Infosys, so it is possible but very unlikely.

What about if Jim Ratcliffe had come to his local club (I believe) instead of his glory hunting club cos he's got billions (I believe a few years ago people were asking after him)? United fans were at first jumping for joy that he may start to oust the Glazers but they're not now. Kicking long standing ST holders out and trying to find somewhere else for them (apparently 500 of them) because they can use those excellent seats behind the dugout for corporate openly admitting that will bring more finance in to the club to (apparently) reduce the admission prices!! WALOB!! These guys couldn't give a flying fk for fans that are loyal and been going to games for decades Yet more evidence the game we all know and love has gone

Started life in Southampton, UK Short and unimpressive stature He used to belong to a very good academy Fallen, and recently with the biggest defeat in history Partner has lots of money, but couldn't prevent the big fall Did see the big fall coming but could do nothing about it His team tried lots of managers to no avail. Going to be out of the limelight for some time His team have being losing talent for some time now. The main building he worked in is by the water, but looking a bit old now.

To be honest SFC and Sunak have a lot in common

How long did it take to come up with this? It’s not very funny or clever.

Fallen, and recently with the biggest defeat in history - didn't surpass your 10-0 home defeat to Leicester
Did see the big fall coming but could do nothing about it - Falling into the 4th tier is far worse and far more embarrassing for a club of your supposed size
Going to be out of the limelight for some time - Finishing in 84th place out of 92 league teams only 10 years back, is really hitting the darkest of dark eras
The main building he worked in is by the water, but looking a bit old now - SMS is only 24 years old this year and has had numerous updates and improvements. Fratton Park, also close to the water, is about 125 years old and despite modernising attempts, still looks old, out of date, a safety hazard (so many enforced updates) and is somewhere you want to move out of. We are still waiting for that new stadium Mandric layed the first brick for, all those years ago, or perhaps even that Whale Island stadium :-)

But that’s not recent is it?
Never forget your 71st position, and without our recent dodgy owners the record would be yours
Limelight is the top league, and you have certainly made a mark this year, perhaps a record breaking one, and I seriously can't see your club bouncing straight back.
Fratton park is classic, everyone knows it, St Marys is just another bowl, just another stadium which lacks character. True.

Never forget your 10-0 top flight defeat at home to Leicester. Who cares when it was - it happened, so remember it.
We've never had a 71st place finish. You are still trying to create your Portsmyth about this, but the fact is, in the season you refer to (1955-56) we finished 14th in Division 3 South. The FA officially split the leagues into North and South and didn't merge results or standings at the end of the season. So regardless of whether you have attempted to merge the the 2 leagues, it is not official and just shows how desperate you are.
Your club has had 4 seasons in the 4th tier and officially finished 84th just 10 years ago. Is that recent enough for you ?
Having not been in the limelight (as you call it) for so long, what 16 seasons is it now ? You are not really in a position to comment on the subject.
I bet you drank Carling Premier when you were in the 2nd tier !! :-)
Frstton Park is over 100 years old, so it is officially an antique. You can say what you like, but you still want to move to a new stadium yourselves. Regardless of what you say about St Marys, deep down you are jealous of it - fact.
