Chair coming back on to give it another go. Might have just caught his studs in the pitch and the pain has subsided

Jimmy Dunne's positioning has been awkward today. Luckily this Le Fee on their left looks very unnatural out there

Ronnie Edwards is class isnt he, so calm on the ball. A premier league player in waiting.

I dunno. Le Fée laid on possibly one of the best assists I’ve seen in ages earlier this season in a televised game. He looked really good that day but hasn’t seemed it today

One nil up near to the end of the first half at a club like Sunderland, after a managerial "departure" and a "five nil home reverse"

Extremely and very QPR !!!

Walking in a "Mackie Wonderland"

Whether it’s due to being fouled, outmuscled, slipping over or diving, Dembélé seems to spend most of his existence on the turf

Shit but local

Chair not having his best game and with his ankle issue might see Kolli in the second half?

Sunderland fans booing at half time! Got to love that.

Fancied us for this game for weeks. Sunderland won't want to lose but at the same time I can't see them busting a gut to get a meaningless result when they've got two big games coming up.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Well the king is dead..... long live the king(s) .... be it ever so temporary

That was a pretty decent 1st half by yet another cobbled team. OK Sunderland seem to be well out of confidence, but we have not looked in any real danger there.

Looking well organised and certainly not looking like a team that is feeling sorry for itself.

The CBs and Edwards, just tiring keep praising him, but he is class. Ashby also having a good game and Madsen seems to be, whisper it quietly, box to box.

Varane though the best of that half. Sunderland surely though will try and up the tempo this 2nd half. For me like to see some of the youngsters get a run to warm up their final with Brentford

Well done Rs... there is still life in us

Really calm and well managed 45 from Rangers there. We’ve looked really confident on the ball in spells and Sunderland have been restricted to half chances.

Handsome Ronnie absolutely imperious yet again, Colback enjoying the boos out at LB, Varane having a great game, Frey ABH-ing people from left to right. Most amazingly of all, Madsen looking good whenever he’s been involved - on both sides of the ball - and Ashby looking tidy going forward. Walsh has looked assured between the sticks as well

Shit but local

I think he brings the ball under control superbly and then initially gets away into space, but then he should pass it to someone who is physically stronger!

Excellent defensively. We're working really hard: 10 tackles, 4 blocks, 22 clearances and 80% of aerial duels won.

Varane and Edwards are having great games. Ashby also playing well.
Ref doesn't like Dembele for some reason. Two early free kicks not given to him.
Chair way off it. Madsen doing ok and good calm finish for his goal.
Dunne as mentioned sometimes too tucked in.
Maybe get Esquerdinha on as the wing back with 20 mins to go.

Smells like a trout farm in here

That was an excellent goal by Madsen. A great take and a beautiful finish. Very good assist by Ashby as well.

Ashby's desire to beat a man and get forward is quite refreshing, but he's still a huge liability anywhere near our half.

Edwards magnificent as ever.

Chair available all the time but giving the ball away a lot. Surprised he came back on, sub at half time I'd imagine.

Frey looking painfully slow.

Betsy very animated on the touchline.

A very nice half.

Very early knee jerk reaction: Calm for the permanant job? This has been quite good.

More than decent half from us, Madsen and Varane looking surprisingly effective as a midfield two and a lovely goal too.
