Poll: Moses Odubajo - Stick or Twist?

Sunderland Match Thread on 07:55 - May 3 with 3013 viewsdmm

His real name is Joao Henrique Mendes da Silva. His nickname, Esquerdinha, means 'little left' because he plays on the left rather than his political beliefs. I don't know why he prefers his nickname to his real name, but it sounds good.

Think should add this to the last verse of the Marti song “ and he hate Chris Nourry as well as chelski..

The anti-linesman chant would be a good one. Just replace 'Lino' with 'Nourry' and it scans.

I spent some very enjoyable evenings watchin the Netflix doc about Sunderland as they slipped down 2 divisions happy in the knowledge QPR were way better that that fiasco.
Now it appears we are actually worse after this week ( not relegated of course) but the gap between them and us miles wide.
They are in with a good chance of going up or at least another Wembley date while we run off the only manager in years to unite our fanbase and provide some light at the end of a darl tunnel .
Impossible to predict this result but Sunderland will be licking their chops to get at us and fire up their promotion challenge while we slink off for the summer

Sobering thought...

Poll: Do you love or hate the new Marmite ad?

I've not checked in on QPR news since the gardening leave thing but I assume Marti is still out and so I won't predict a score but I will say lock up your dads, as they're about to get f**ked.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Now we know where Father Fokker originated !

Cheers, Bluce. It’s been playing on my mind since the swearing thread settled down.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

If Xavi and/or Kevin have aspirations for the job, I suspect we will see a senior team playing 4:2:3:1 to keep the potential new boss happy.

The selection will no doubt create speculation, either way though. Probably one of the more intriguing elements of today’s game.

New Gardening Leave-themed Marti song for those at Sunderland:

Marti Cifuentes,
Marti Cifuentes,
He plants wild heather
His flowers are yella
He hates f***ing Chelsea Flower Show

Sing it loud. Sing it proud

The crowds at.games have been massively in favour of Cifuentes.

More so than nearly all managers in the last ten years or so.

Social media crowd.have been pretty harsh on Marti.

It's an extremely disappointing last week of the season all round tbh.

Hope the guys that go out onto the field go out to have fun, play a game of football and all aim to put in a performance

It could be the last time, half the squad will actually pull on a Rangers shirt but then this massive turnover of players consistently is part of football today.

Hopefully they just remember to play their best game of football and hopefully pinch a result too. That's why we all go in essence

Most of us could not care less what's going on in the boardroom.and beyond if the team is doing the business out on the pitch

Just play football for us Rangers Boys and try to make us all have good memories for the next season ahead !!!

The difference between those who go and the armchairs.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

Sunderland have lost 4 on the bounce (I wonder if they rested players knowing 3rd place was pretty much unattainable and 4th guaranteed), I can't see it being a 5th.

Hope so though!

I listened to the Sunderland podcast that Clive was on during the week, they said that Sunderland had played weakened teams for a few weeks to avoid first team injuries ahead of the playoffs, but they expected them to turn up for this one so that they go in to the playoffs with a win behind them... So yeah, think it could be ugly today tbh.

Our competitors next season will no doubt be using the last "proper" game of the season to try out some plans, whilst we are managed by someone unlikely to be at the club, with a whole group of players who won't be here either.

No doubt this will roll into the normal pre-season shambles, so as usual, we're hardly likely to be sprinting out the blocks next season. In a season where a slow start is going to prove much more disastrous without (i) a top manager to pull us out of it and (ii) a stronger overall league.

Christian Nourry, get out of our club.

Brazilians follow the Portuguese tradition of having four names. They use a nickname that is easier to say and makes them standout to their fans more. Still get the Despacito music in my head when I hear his name. As to the match it would be a typical Rangers thing to win.

Pleased to see Walsh start. He should be pushing Nardi for the jersey next year no matter who's in charge. Or else go out on loan. Another season on the bench of no value to him
