Had a hospital appointment in London today and afterwards went to the box office to renew my season ticket .
Very pleasant staff informed that sales are well up on this time last year.
The growing fan base is one of the big plusses of the last ten years.
There hasn’t been much else.

Just putting it out there, I reckon that might disappoint some. I think our club is the beautiful antithesis to all that is wrong in the beautiful game, Hoping other “ small” London clubs are seeing a similar trend. I know opinions about owners, CEO’s, DOF, Head of this and that go round in circles but, and I can’t think of another way of putting it, our little haven in W12 and those who visit it are magic. Clive has pointed out how our fanbase has got younger and enthusiastic, unlike old gits like me. The numbers have increased which is another positive.
I'd also add the progression shown by the younger players. Morgan, Kolli, Sutton, Lloyd. To which you could add Bennie, Saito, Morrison and Varane.
Of course, it wouldnt be QPR without some drama, and the fallout between Marti and Nourry has cast a long shadow. |  |

Pretty good . Detached retinas come in various shapes and sizes.
Rehabilitation programs come in different forms. I had to sleep sitting up for 5 days . Some people have to stay face down on a bed days on end which sounds horrendous so I’ve been lucky .
I had a gas bubble inserted to keep the retina in place which makes you feel like your a sprit level . It will eventually disappear. I’ve been lucky and had no pain whatsoever. Just eye drops .

I had that gas bubble with mine a few years ago. Really weird isn't it! When you look down it literally is like a spirit level as you say.
Have they mentioned you will get a cataract within a year? All perfectly normal apparently and an easy operation and much quicker recovery. |  |

I'm not sure but I don't think the season tickets went on sale until mid May last season, I bought mine on the 14th May which may well have been the release date, so it shouldn't be a surprise if sales are well up. | | | |

This. I forgot i was on the direct debit auto scheme and then just as i was thinking 'shall I renew or not', it made the decision for me (that in my heart of hearts i would've done anyway).

Relatively affordable, local, competitive football, in a traditional stadium not some horrible bowl, with a great atmosphere, a terrace and without VAR.
Genuinely if I was the EFL I'd be running television commercials promoting their product as a VAR free zone. Chuck a few clips of Stroud errors in, crowd going mental at himm tagline "football as it's supposed to be".

The DD is a no-brainer for me. Our ST are relatively cheap and given it is interest free you just get used to the cost.

When it was announced last year that season ticket sales were at record levels I started to check numbers on the seat map. All available seats such as restricted views were still available to begin with and as time went by over the summer these reduced and reduced until a couple of days before the start of the season it gave the impression that all but a few tickets in the upper SAR were still available, the paddocks had sold out. A few hundred remained in the upper Loft with the Lower Loft sold out and only a few tickets remained in the ER stand. And when I say a few I mean a handful. The lower SE had its release of tickets late but certainly a couple of sections were pretty much sold out giving the impression that sales had been easily hit exceeded 15,000. Yet in reality when you saw the empty spaces at some games and the attendances this was much much greater than the reality. So I’d take it all with a pinch of salt. | |

The guy in the row behind us only appeared for 2 home games last season,so that worked out at £155 a game,assuming he an oap.He wasn’t at many the season before either. |  | | |
