Therefore, the club will be fully aware of the fate of Jimmy Dunne, all the other out of contract and loan players. Tomorrow, the EFL will also know. Which is not a great starting point in general should some kind of miracle happen and we 'ascend to the promised land;. We'd be replaced by day-trippers ASAP. The communications around the club need to change, its such a quick and easy win for them to do so. So what's stopping them? |  |

It's a curious one because one theory is that if you say very little people don't spread non stories around social media and the press. The problem with that is the current 'news void' approach actually encourages more possibly inaccurate comment, but you're right, the current approach with PR is scraps at best. | |

I sort of get the Reggie Cannon one, as that was all around a legal dispute wasn't it?
Maybe they couldn't say too much.
But, this time round I'm not sure of the value of not announcing that we are letting x number of first team players walk away at the end of the season.
It might have been nice to be able to clap Jimmy Dunne off the pitch one last time, rather than have to wait till he comes back in his Sheff Utd shirt next year |  | | |
