It may seem a lower ratio to them than it does to us, given they play teams like St.Mirren and Kilmarnock most of the time and routinely smash them.

Having said that, he’s 6’3 and his strengths (on google) seem to be physical presence, aerial ability, shooting power and accuracy and setting up teammates. If that’s accurate, he’ll be superb.

It does seem to indicate he blows hot and cold though

So what do swansea do?
Celtic have known for the week what has been going on gave permission to the player to talk to us agreed a fee, let him come for a medical, he agrees to join then they pull the plug and want him back.
for me our board and transfer people have done verything correctly, give them a deadline of 5 pm today to relase him or either offer less or move on, of course i do not know how our people are with other targets and am not privy to their workings, but we should not be jacked about by a so called bigger club who have what looks like to me internal problems between their board and manager

you could be right but i was only using the 5 pm as an example, the problem is we do not know what position we will be in untill after thir game, he gets injured for example, hope not of course but to go as far as they have done( celtic)and then recall him puts us in a bad situation you must agree?
I would think all has been signed off apart from celtic agreeing to release his reg, as he was here to join Swansea
but lets wait and see and i hope you are right

This whole episode just highlights the problems that can happen when you try to sign forwards in particular, one slip and everything stalls. Celtic are held up getting their target and knocks on to us, which knocks onto a Vipotnik move. Frustrating for the clubs, players and supporters involved. It's not for the lack of trying by the club, some could see and understand this during the window others couldn't.
