I've been to Athens, great city, went through the corinth canal. Brilliant experience. This time I am going to kefalonia and Crete. Going for the sun and beaches. Easy to get from one island to another.

Plenty of days out to cricket to come over Summer, then trips with mates to come in Autumn, one to Albania, Montenegro and Serbia, then long weekend in Belfast

Off to Derry~Londonderry via Dublin then Belfast tomorrow to help my youngest son pack up and return home for summer from university.

Sicily in July for a concert in Taormina and a few days there.

Looking at some winter sun as a main break this year. Be nice to get away from the cold at the end of the year.

I always find it strange that people go away in the summer here, the only chance of some warm weather.

Better to go somewhere warm in the winter and escape the cold

Yeah, that's what I shall be doing this year, heading abroad for some late September sun - probably in the Med somewhere after the manic Summer rush. Plus there are some good deals to be had that time of year if you look around.

Hopefully the weather will be kind.

I spent 5 days in Tromso albeit years ago now. Lovely place, especially the Fjords. Very expensive as I remember although they sell big clear bags of freshly caught prawns by the quayside which were very reasonable and real yummy if you like seafood... which I do. Beer was expensive too.

Should be a very interesting place to visit. What's Wanyama doing these days?

I would love to visit India, and visit the Taj Mahal. But the family worry about access to British style food and seeing poverty. I personally would love to go there. I assume Kenya also has its fair share of poverty that you might witness.

That's what I'm doing. It's our 25th wedding anniversary and the wife used to work on cruise ships so wants to go as a passenger. I chose Norway as the thought of sitting on my balcony watching us pass the fjords with a whisky appeals to me, but I'm not sure the whole cruise experience does

For two weeks in Portugal at the end of July/August with my extended family, about 20 of us in a big villa. Family wedding in Wales a few days after we get back.

Cricket, gigs, weekends in London, Liverpool and Amsterdam plus mates coming down for their annual pub crawl around the Hamble Strawberry trail.

Does the mystic woman in red with long blond hair still come out singing from behind the rocks half way up the Flam railway? Excellent trip though

I was out in India (Mumbai) at the start of the year for work and have travelled round it a fair bit, doing Delhi, Jaipur, Agra (for the Taj Mahal) and Hyderabad.

On the whole i loved it, the only exception is Dehli which is one of the rudest places i've ever been.

The poverty is obvious but it's no worse than a lot of other countries you go to and I was actually pretty surprised how rich Mumbai was when i was out there.

As for food it's pretty much the same as anywhere you go, you can always find something you want, the hotel i was in in Mumbai had four restaurants, two Indian, one sushi place and an Italian one, and funnily enough Pizza is the biggest selling food in India these days.

I'd honestly recommend going it's a brilliant country and the history is incredible (and people lovely)
