Very unlike us!

I wasn't expecting this to be announced until late-October, after he'd got several games under his belt. At the earliest.

This was a done deal in January but paperwork was delayed and not processed in time.

Where's he going to live, I wonder? Never heat of players (or anyone else come to that), looking for or being in 'digs'.

It might be a welfare requirement to have under 18s live with a supervising adult. The Czech from Aberdeen!

I take it there was a fee paid and that there's a sell on clause. From a media report...

“We are, of course, disappointed to be losing Timi as we had high hopes for him”, said Dons director of football Steven Gunn.

“We have negotiated a significant deal with QPR that also provides future protection should Timi continue to develop into the player we hoped he could be.”

East End Lewis sounds like a member of the Kray Twins gang or one of Discodroids mates.

Welcome Timothy!

Fingers 🤞. Another 17yo straight into the DS, sod U18s. Nourry is getting his critics on here from some luddites, but the signing of these youngsters is a huge plus.

His comment regarding the pathway for youngsters to the 1st team is why it is crucial that the DS players are given a chance and not blocked by mediocre signings.

A friend of mine who is a Dundee fan and used to have a season ticket for QPR, says there was a fair bit of hype around Tim north of the border so this could be a bit of a coup.
Hope he's right!

Still - this is old news!

What about, oh you know, a HEAD COACH?

We might see Jaylan Pearman, 18 year old ACM from Perth Glory, come in next.

If so, a DS including Esquerdinha, Akindilene, Putman, Pearman, Bennie, Morgan, Tuck, Petrie, Kolli, Sutton, Dillon. Friel was talked up a lot 12 months ago too.

It feels like it's happened quite suddenly but I've never known a QPR DS to have so many bright talents, nor be so well balanced.

We've talked about needing this production line for many, many years. It appears to be on the verge of becoming a reality.

Yup, absolutely. And you can add Wilkie, Salamon and O'Brien to the list. Aoraha and Talla are still with us too.

That Premier League final was my highlight of last season and I'm looking forward to seeing these lads play again as soon as possible.

Tuck looked decent to me. Worth a few sub appearances from what I saw so far.

Seem to remember rumours regarding this young chap in couple of previous transfer windows.

Next we are announcing the signing of six year old George Washington, son of Conor who has excelled at under eights level so in a more senior age category.

One for the future says Christian....

"There was interest from other clubs but QPR just stood out for me because the development here for young players is extraordinary.

“You can see it through all the young players coming up to the first team, and that's what really persuaded me to come here."

I think the deal was agreed in January, but we couldn't get clearance.
Pearman's deal was also agreed earlier this year.

All we need now is a Head Coach, 2 RBs, a couple of CBs who can play 40 games per season, a defensive midfielder who can pass the ball forward.

Yeah but knowing QPR, it'll turn out to be a farm of actual puppies.

CEO Christian Nourry said: "The club's continued focus on making acquisitions of players of Timmy's age and profile is further highlighted by his arrival today.

“He is a very exciting talent, who has the physical attributes to impose himself as a left-footed central defender at the professional level.

“On top of that, he is a young man with a level of maturity and focus beyond his years which we believe will make him eminently coachable. On behalf of the entire club, I warmly welcome him."

Chatgpt is honestly way more human-like than Nourry.
