I suspect the instant coffee is just because that’s what the media team could work with. Jimmy’s posted enough instagrams out-and-about at coffee shops with the Danish boys that he likely drinks the good stuff.

I think CB is his natural position but his appearances at full back is how he became important to us.
He played a couple of times at CB last season due injuries, I think Ashby slotted in on the right. He did well, much better than when he was next to Dickie.
We need pace out wide, and that is something JD doesn't have in abundance.
Julien Stephan likes to play 3 at the back and I think Dunne would be well suited to the right hand of the 3. But our squad doesn't have the players to play that formation so I'm sure he'll play FB in a back 4.

Having watched the interview- what a grounded, thoughtful, warm guyJimmy is. I am delighted by the news and impressed by the man.
My take is he genuinely wants to develop as a leader and a person. I reckon he knows his strengths and limitations and wants to make the most of them. And being a leader in a big heritage club like us means something. Also, I reckon losing your dad at 27 makes you think hard about what you want from life. It’s clear he’s done that.
And I have to say I look at every other club in the league and ask would I want to live there? With the possible exception of Bristol, no chance. Chiswick ain’t so bad!

I suspect its a 1+1 but on Dunnes side not QPR's for a change.
Meaning he's really on a 1-year contract, but with an option to extend with us if no one he likes wants him at the end of next season. It also allows us to sell him in January for any money if we so choose.
How do I know this? I don't; I'm just guessing.

And good that the club are recognising that. I hope Dave Mc's story about a little new contract for Smyth is true and does get announced, however badly it'll play on Twitter, because I think it's a big positive. I did a post a few months ago about beware of too much churn, too much experience bleeding out, and trying to shop another dozen players of the same profile we did last summer.
