I think Sutton will see a fair amount of action this year, he looks ready to compete for a place

What’s the latest please folks?

Just in from work, how long left?

Still 2 1 to us.

A much improved performance from last week. What is good is that Chair is looking to.play a quarter back role... and the new signings look really impressive... Poku the stand out this half. He is really tricky

Brilliant move involving Poku and Bennie almost led to an OG.

Larkeche likes an overlap and I love the way Tuck is always looking to progress things forward.

Not watching today.

What’s happened with subs. Obvs Poku has come on and Walsh is still between the sticks (Clive’s hunch has a bit more substance?) But what has happened re the second half team? No updates on the offish X site.

What's the formation?

Looks like a 4-2-3-1 this half ....Kelman is the lone striker...Poku and Sutton wide ... with Vale in the middle..Pearmain and Tuck holding

Young Pearman has been a lot better than I expected.

I thought he was supposed to be very much one for the future.

Not that he won't be, but he's looked decent in this game.

Chair, Morgan and the 2 centre backs were stand out in the 1st half... Smyth was good on the left as well

Kelman looks a better front man than Celar... Both Sutton and Poku have looked good... Poku especially... Vine been a little quiet... larkeche looks OK.. as does Adamson...

Cooky look definitely ring rusty...

All in all its been a decent workout

Hate knocking players but Kelman's pressing and hold up play is another level compared to Celar's. We'd be mad to sell him at this stage.

FT 2-1.

Decent workout but became a bit pointless after the hour as everyone changed en masse.

North enjoyed reffing it seems.

A much better 2nd half in which we had a lot of control. Toulouse seemed to fade away. An excellent confidence boosting performance and result.

the young defender from Aberdeen Akindileni looked really promisng, he did ok last week as well

He looks like he has a chance. He’s understandably incredibly raw right now though. Needs about 50 games of getting kicked left, right and centre.

Yeah, agreed. Nice to see him and Tuck wanting the ball in the middle, being comfortable being pressed and always looking to move it forwards. Some nice play between them. Vital if we want to be successful playing out from the back.

Kelman looks strong. Poku could do very well. Young defenders promising but not ready just yet I'd say. Illias looking pumped and ready.

Strange shouldn't matter... but always feel a lot better winning... can kid ourselves that PSF results don't matter... but really nice to win

That was a vast improvement on Saturday... only down for me is Walsh still not that confident in him....

Lots and lots of positives there... Poku is a find... thought Kelman looks our best forward on that 2nd half display...

We also seem well blessed with CBs... as well

The Deeper Chair role suits him... yeah pretty good workout that... and the icing was the Jimmy revenge tackle

What's the formation?

We played 4-2-3-1 but with Chair in the 10 dropping back into midfield a lot.

Was a really promosing performance. Poku looked exciting, Smyth did well on the left and Morgan had a good game. Young kid from Aberdeen looks a player as does the left back from Brazil

A massive improvement on last week

Yes I noticed Pearman also.

Very tidy and with not a little skill to manoeuvre out of awkward situations.
Been impressed by the lad in this game.

I was very pleased with Tuck & Pearman. Both looked very confident & comfortable at the heart of midfield.

Does anybody know why the Tuck goasl was disallowed?

You've just watched the end of the Field/Varane partnership in midfield.
Morgan will play 8, competing with Tuck, next to either Field or Varane. Exactly the way it should be. Both Morgan and Tuck get the ball forward and anyone who watched the DS against Brentford knew these two would be playing a part in the 1st team.
Only concern is the RB slot if Dunne gets injured. I know we are interested in Alfie Gilchrist, wonder if we might make a move?

Gotta laugh at some of the comments on here after the last game. 🤣

Those missing from the game include Nardi, Morrison and Richards. I wonder if we'll be told why.

Yeah very impressed with Akindeleni. Needs an Eze/Chair loan where he goes and plays 30 odd games at L2, especially given CB is one of the few areas we have options. But very impressed on first viewing, has all the attributes to play at a high level
