Clearly this is our year....

Well likely half the team that won the Premier League Cup will be involved here, so the cup pedigree is there !!!

Probably as Plymouth also stated they likely to field a second team, this could be seen as no more than a preseason friendly...

I have no idea as to the result, performance or team, but am not too hopeful.

Saying that Plymouth have lost almost all their top players, but its a cup game

Random from me.

Plymouth 2 QPR 2
We progress 3- 1 on penalties (Chloe Kelly strikes the winner)

Burrell was a great buy... he is the best player on the park

Guys got an engine and he’s rapid. I think he’s going to do well for us.

2 more good saves from Nardi and he's still not been lobbed.

He’s been great considering the recent deselection. Making a solid case for a return on Saturday

Confident too, back to the first half of last season.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Well, whatever happens to them this season, I'm really pleased for Nardi and Kolli that they're both making an impact here. Maybe a message is being sent.

Nardi has been brilliant

Sutton very very lucky not to have a second yellow there.

Ref was very lenient. It wouldnt have been a surprise to see a 2nd yellow.

Get that man back in goal on Saturdays. This is already bonkers and it’s been one and half games.

I do like that Wilke at CB. Stepped out with the ball a few times, very calm, good positioning. Makes it look very easy.

He's only been at the club 6 months if that.

It’s brilliant and amazing that we’re 2-0 up. How is a bit of a mystery.

Nardi making a very strong case that he is comfortably our best keeper.

Lovely cross from Vale for the 2nd goal.

Not sure how we score in the 46th min and Nardi still has to make two outstanding saves before the half is up. Tighten up lads, FFS!

Got to keep him supplied and he’ll cause chaos.

Must keep him up for oppo corners, he’ll prevent a couple of theirs coming forward and scare the shit out of them if we get a break.

That cross from Vale, though. Superb.

And that was some leap from Kolli. On the one hand I think he needs a good L1 loan, on the other he's staked a claim tonight, especially if Dembele switches to the right with Poku injured.

Once I saw Furs leading them off the bus then I thought ok so this is not playing a weakened team this is our club promoting our Premier League Cup winners to the Carabao Cup as part of their development.

Therefore there is a psychological switch to roaring on our Development side as heroes playing in the men’s league and not QPR disrespecting the cup.

We've hardly been in it. Argyle 75% possession, 16 shots to our 4.
But the only stat that really counts is Argyle 0 QPR 2

Well, that was entertaining!

Obvs Sutton to be subbed now, no idea who'd replace him, but having only seen Tuck in the Final, I'd fancy him on over Pearman (unless Tuck is going out on loan soon).

Good half given how much possession PAFC have had. That Burrell can sure motor!

Fair play to the defenders, Harvey Vale the only one to have played professional football and he isn't even a left back. Jaiden Putman's only experience was a loan at Barking and a loan at Oxford City, Tylon Smith has only played reserve football in South Africa, Alex Wilkie was at Winchester City last season. But they are holding it together somehow

He will sporting a massive boner

I have a feeling there will be behind the scenes politics after this if we hold on. Players pushing for places, contract demands etc everyone has an angle.

Nardi making saturdays team selection looks bloody daft may be a topic of discussion around the club....

Agreed, he looks good. Needs to head the ball away from the goal though, on a couple of occasions he's headed it straight to Plymouth players on the edge of the box. This game will do him the world of good though.

Definitely, comprehensive domination... From Plymouth. Yet we're in the lead - nice to see us be clinical and create 2 good chances even if we're being dominated in most aspects of the game.

If we keep him I think Nardi will be back between the sticks in a matter of weeks. Baffles me why he has been replaced. Especially as he is a fellow countryman to our Head Coach.

We weren't dominant in all phases.

First 20 minutes we only made one forward pass as opposed to their fifty or so and they had 80% possession at that stage.

But power, paceand clinical finishing and we doing very nicely thank you.

Nardi putting in a very fine display. Its very strange, he is not number one keeper currently. He should be.

Brilliant though.

He is more than good enough to hold a regular spot in the first team. It would be rank stupidity to loan him out. Not liking his dad isn't a reason to want him gone.

The grass is always greener.
