Clearly this is our year....

Well likely half the team that won the Premier League Cup will be involved here, so the cup pedigree is there !!!

Probably as Plymouth also stated they likely to field a second team, this could be seen as no more than a preseason friendly...

I have no idea as to the result, performance or team, but am not too hopeful.

Saying that Plymouth have lost almost all their top players, but its a cup game

Random from me.

Plymouth 2 QPR 2
We progress 3- 1 on penalties (Chloe Kelly strikes the winner)

Who is the boring tvvat on comms for sky sports, Nardi saves a penalty and he spends the next 10 mins talking about how his big toe was over the line. If we had var... boring mate.

Like the look of Putman on the ball. Vale looks reliable and Sutton needs to be hooked but pleasantly surprised given the line up.

I enjoyed that. It's fair to say we have ridden our luck. It's a great team performance, but Plymouth had no confidence in front of goal.

He is more than good enough to hold a regular spot in the first team. It would be rank stupidity to loan him out. Not liking his dad isn't a reason to want him gone.

But he still has to prove himself when he does come on or start. Yeah, maybe not loan him but he is not first on the team sheet yet for me.

It would just be our luck that we win the cup with kids and then get it taken off us because we've not adhered to some rule as to when school children have to be back home on a weekday night.

Never knowingly right.

We weren't dominant in all phases.

First 20 minutes we only made one forward pass as opposed to their fifty or so and they had 80% possession at that stage.

But power, paceand clinical finishing and we doing very nicely thank you.

Nardi putting in a very fine display. Its very strange, he is not number one keeper currently. He should be.

Brilliant though.

Pretty sure it was sarcasm.

"Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous."

bloody hell that first 20 minutes, I thought the plan was going to go horribly wrong.. not sure how we managed to sneak in 2 up, really very un-QPR like...
Very fortunate to go in with 11 men as well.. Sutton very fortunate.
Burrell very lively, and some great saves from Nardi..

Nardi should be starting on Saturday, as well as Burrell. Like the way Kolli is starting to enforce himself on the game. Those two are head and shoulders above Celar who really is stinking the place out in the forward line.

Once I saw Furs leading them off the bus then I thought ok so this is not playing a weakened team this is our club promoting our Premier League Cup winners to the Carabao Cup as part of their development.

Therefore there is a psychological switch to roaring on our Development side as heroes playing in the men’s league and not QPR disrespecting the cup.

Try and stay with me on this train.

The club had absolutely nothing to gain by playing Nardi (assuming they are trying to sell him):

- Walsh, at the most generous, needs minutes.

- Saloman, who has a future here, nowhere to be seen

- Now the debate about why he isn't starting will rage on while they are trying to sell him making his exit more painful.

Crackers.

Not only was the second from a corner… a short corner too?!?

No idea when the last one of them come off but lovely to see us experimenting with trying to actually score from corners

We need to keep Nardi angry. Feed him cheap sausages and make him sleep at the ground.

So LOL. Quote of the messageboard season so far.

Their #23 Ibrahim is from Brackenbury Road and was a QPR fan as a kid, Arsenal took him off us when he was 12.

He looks pretty decent too

I would let Burrell have another 15-20 mins as I would start him Sat over Celar.
Sutton also needs to come off sooner rather than later. Maybe Bennie out wide and Tuck in the middle.

Smells like a trout farm in here

The defence has had a proper workout , and will be wiser for the experience. Wouldn’t learn much if we were strolling through the game.

Nardi excellent
Putman struggled
Wilkie impressive
Pearman not doing much
Burrel looks very promising

As does their Finn

Keep it tight
Urs !

You haven't seen him play much have you? Goals, assists, workrate defensive work are all better than the others looking to hold down a spot in the team. He is also one of the better headers of the ball.

The grass is always greener.

Talla and Dillon for Sutton and Burrell.
Sutton to avoid a red card, Burrell rested for Saturday.

Argyle pull 1 back from a corner.
