Like the look of this lad, impressed by his attitude when he came on against Preston on Saturday and last night with Kolli up front they looked a threat, lot of pace and gets stuck in, got up well for the header which led to our opener. I will ignore the penalty challenge as that was just unlucky to a certain extent. Would like to see him start at Watford instead of Celar, we could have a bit of a gem here and if Kone signs will have quite a good few attacking options.

I think JS saw enough of Burrell in 45 mins to bring him off at half time to start him at the weekend. I hope that's the case.

Smells like a trout farm in here

He did well and provided the outlet that we were missing in the second half.

This is exactly what I was thinking, off at halftime because he's starting on Saturday. We shall see.

When you reach the place beyond thoughts, the only thing you'll find is love and the only purpose of life becomes to ease the suffering of others.

Would certainly expect him to play a larger role this weekend than last.

Very very quick. Kept their defenders busy all half. Stretched the pitch well and looked to pounce on any loose ball.
If he can add some more composure to his end product I think we could have a good’un on our hands!

Plus if someone keeps up with him, reads his passes, could be a valuable creative outlet too. I like the way he looks to bring others into the game e.g. Kolli's goal.

Potentially the kind of player we have been crying out for for years. I am not sure how many goals he can score but he'll provide a lot and also will keep defences tied up with his speed.

Never knowingly right.

Jesus christ this guy was fast. Provides such a dangerous outlet, terrifying defenders every time a ball was stuck over the top for him to chase. Held the ball up well, winning headers and midfielders/wingers into play. Him and Celar are chalk and cheese, no doubt who should be starting on Saturday.

Him and Frey (if he ever gets fit) are great but very different and complimentary options off the bench against a tiring team. A monster truck or a formula 1 car.

I actually think a player like Burrell could give Cesar some much needed space and service to operate in.

Never knowingly right.

If we can keep him fit, playing mostly in their half and stay up for oppo corners, he’s going to relieve a lot of attacking pressure too. I’d imagine they’ll need to keep two defenders with him and that’s two that don’t pose a threat to us. Maybe we can also PNE a few teams with some rapid goalkeeper distribution for good measure.

He’ll certainly help Poku and Dembele out going forward with some more space because they can’t double up on all three. Poku had 2-3 on him at times last weekend and that would leave Burrell wide open. I guess we will also see him with Smyth at some point which is also an interesting mix to give the oppo some issues.

It was a shame he came off at halftime because one more goal would have potentially won that game had we scored first. Might also have been a good opportunity to get 45mins into Celar whilst we were 2:0 up and he’s seen the competition first hand.

This time next year, Rodders, the Milk Cup will be ours and we’ll be Milkionaires.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Burrell and Kone are going to be a good 1-2 upfront. Much improved in activity, mobility, and attacking threat

Frey is good 3rd choice in my view too…when fit. A very different striker for defences to worry about.

if poku has done his hamstring maybe burrell starts on the left hand side with kone through the middle , dembele on the right

I've not seen anything move as quick upfront in B&W shirt since SLF. Not only that, but he looks like he can maintain speed over a fair distance!

This boy is going to get free kicks in the latter part of games by the bucket load. However, if anyone is listening at the club: don't bring him back to defend corners. Leave him and one of the other little fellas up on the halfway line and the oppo will leave move shit on the ground then when we see the police horses galloping across the turf.

I will say this for CN in his recruitment, if Kone comes in - I think I read that he can also shift - then him, Buzz, Poku, and Dembele running at you will be a thing to behold and let's hope the cameraman can keep up with it all.

His pace is terrifying. There were a couple of occasions in the first half last night where balls that ought to have been comfortable for the Plymouth centrebacks/keeper to mop up turned into opportunities for us because he's so quick.

He's also shown some flashes of intelligence to go with it - against Preston there was one where he read the flight of a ball and stepped back suddenly, and left the defender chasing him to run on past while he got himself on it.

With him and Mbengue we have pace and power at both ends of the pitch - and we'd have it in the middle too if Poku hadn't done his hamstring. It's a huge change from where we were last season!

Quick????????

At the end of the first half he gave their two CB's a 30 yard head start and missed out nicking the ball by a gnats whisker before it was cleared.

Against Watford I'd play 9 at the back and just keep lumping it forward to him!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Chair will be in the middle with Kone the lone striker if deemed fit enough.

Celar will be unavailable as I will personally be driving him up to Grimsby on Friday night.

You can talk anything about Burrell so far but not his work rate and definitely not his pace I think you just haven't seen pace in this team and forgotten what it looked like

He was giving that defence a torrid time. I think they much enjoyed the 2nd half compared to the 1st

Been very impressed with what I’ve seen .

It’s so nice to see us play the ball into channels, have someone get there and then look composed with the ball at his feet .
A big step up for both Burrell and Kone so they ain’t going to be prolific straight away .

Quickest outlet up front for the release ball since B.O.S.

Rapid! 😎
