Good news, glad to have him back. QPR are not giving Clive a rest on a bank holiday

I suspect these would have been stretched out over the week had we not shït the bed against Coventry.

Welcome Koki & great signing

Really not sure how I feel about this one. It's a lot of money for a player who plays in a position we're well stacked in, he's not the strongest and he's not the tallest. Also, there's that goals+assists stat.

But he's just so likeable! I'd imagine he'll help the dressing room vibe. And I get the feeling there's a lot more improvement in him.

I'm officially on the fence.

Anything to try to stop a revolt of sorts tomorrow at the open training .

Probably a good idea really.

Don’t really want it getting ugly tomorrow

Saito did provide cover at left back a couple of times also. Love the bloke, but have to wonder if we would have been better off singing an actual central midfielder that isn’t defensively inclined.

Might not be the tallest Brian but I cannot recall him being outjumped by any opponent last season and I think it may have been the Derby home match when his salmon like leap led to the third or fourth goal. He’s prepared to put his foot in where it hurts and he has no little skill. A real bastàrd to defend against and can run all day which hopefully will help the ‘press’ which Stephán talks about but which I’ve seen little of so far. To do as well as he did last season, his first in England speaks volumes of the lad. And I think with Kone and Burrell and Poku he will create a fair few chances. Very happy to see him back.

The club have been busy today with the PR of signings and departures. But welcome Koki. Good player. We get to see the Chair, Smyth, Koki and Dembele strike force back together again!

Still got a gut feeling they are trying to move Smyth on .

No ITK or anything like that and I could be completely wrong . I hope I am .
Just think it’s another pre CN signing whose face don’t fit . As I say , hope I’m completely wrong .

Can't agree that it's not a position we need. With our fitness team we need to be signing 1.5 wingers a week throughout the season just to field an XI.

Beyond that - we've got a player who already knows most of the team and has a year's experience of the league, who was 100% committed last season as a loan player, was fit and available every game until the last 1.5 of the season where he got bulldozed and dislocated his shoulder, and who actually wants to be here. Yes, we have more pressing needs at CM and LB, but I'll never be upset at signing a player with the attitude and work rate of Saito.

Very, very pleased he's back. Watching him play last year was a real pleasure.

Spot on, in these crazy times there's something to be said for players that give their all and play with a smile on their face. The mood needs lifting, I hope Koki can help. A few successful seasons with us and then a mega-bucks transfer to Palace or Spurs will do me.

Yep, I'm with you, Brian. But I will say this about Saito. He puts a grin on my face and there's not a lot to grin about at Rangers at the moment.

Welcome back Koki for the second chapter of your QPR career.

Just a small heads up mate, you may notice a few changes since you were last here.

Like having some better players around you.

Not playing Saturday, he's been deemed too fit to start.

Glad we got this one done.
With Koki, you know he'll have you off your seat a few times during the course of a game.
Good bit of business done this transfer window.
With these additions, and what we have brought in already, Stephan had better start upping his game, starting on Saturday.

Nourry picks the team, JS has apparently got nothing to do with it.

JS is here to speak in his sexy French accent and shrug his shoulders. No more no less.

Good work if you can get it.

I'm there in a few months and will land wearing my SAITO emblazoned shirt and expect swift transit through customs as a result.

I shall be doing that too!! I’m so happy!! (C) K. Saito.

I know the start of the season on the pitch has fallen way short of all expectation and certainly had his signing been announced before the likes of Hayden and RND, questions would have been asked. But Hayden and RND have signed, along with the likes of Poku, Mbengue and Kone. In getting Saito we’ve got a decent, popular and enthusiastic player who is going to provide some much needed positivity in light of recent results and performances.

Just need to translate this on to the pitch….!! Gambatte Kōki-kun!!

Very happy with this one, he is so good when he gets near the area, great in the air for his height and just one of those players you just have to like who always puts a shift in. You can imagine the dressing room love him too - seems like a really positive person.

I felft at the start of last season when we got him he was off the pace and looka a bit weak physically, but once he adapted he was great.

It would be pathetic if grown men think it’s appropriate to stage a ‘revolt of sorts’ resulting in it ‘getting ugly’ in front of hundreds of excited young fans(for whom an open training session is for) tomorrow. Let’s hope not.

Not what we need. Money should have been spent on a midfielder.

Great for the ‘project’ though with potential sell on.
