Great win against a decent Wealdstone team. Some good defending and Watmuff also did very well. Capitalise in our home game next week now and we're off to a great start.

Greedy, yes probably....but Dale should be on 18 points and clear of the pack.
JM's error has been thoroughly dissected. If that's something he can put down to experience and nothing similar or any other major self-inflicted wounds happens this season... well, who knows?
It can never be turned into a positive, but at least he's shown he can recover momentum after a setback, and hopefully Done & Taylor are having their influence on that

The response has been really good. I actually thought we could hit a bad patch after the errors of a week ago but it’s been anything but.
We’ll win far more than we lose, it’s hoped that our next loss isn’t one where we’ve not beaten ourselves. Because McNulty knows what unnecessary pressure that brings.
A good result today,I was worried that it would be a difficult game, but to win 3-1 and from all accounts, we could have got more, is a good sign. Yes we will have difficult games coming up, but winning 6 out of 7 (thanks to the debacle at Brackley) gives the team confidence.
It is sad news about Pritchard injury, lets hope it is only short-term, but thankfully, I would like to think our squad is capable of covering any injuries, unlike last season.

Well Brackley did us aa big favour today: scored an equaliser against Scunthorpe in the 98th minute. Scunny were the only team that could have overtaken us with their games in hand. I notice Carlisle lost to Sutton. We are not doing too bad. UTD

I was really impressed by Wealdstone. They were very attacking and aggressive- pretty much trying to overload our third at any possible opportunity. I’d have them as dark horses for the play-offs. Credit to the team for getting the win. Without doing too much of a disservice to our coaching team, I thought moments of real quality from our key players (Rodney and Mani) was the difference today.

Just watched the game on DAZN. Wealdstone should have been down to 10 men. Around the 36th minute their number 4 and Gordon argue when Wealdstone got a free kick. Their number 4 punches / hits Gordon in the ribs / abdomen

FGR drew, we go top again
Reading some of the reports from the FGR game they were lucky to get the point....Braintree should have been out of sight at half time, aided by a Dog of a pitch apparently...Won't be easy against them but at the moment we should have no fear of anyone in this league, not sure if the York fixture being rearranged is a good thing or not, might have been the perfect time to play them....Hoping other results go our way this week..

I hope you're right, because the only way i'd have any confidence of getting out of this league (upwards!) is by finishing where we are now
Total points from the 6 teams that left - 12 points - 12 games Current points from the 6 teams that have joined - 3 points - 2 games
Early to predict but i can't see such a spread across the top last season (1st 102 points 4th 74points) this time round with lots of ups and downs for all teams interested at the top end. That last game v York still stands out as "could be fun"

Tbf, it was impossible for a positive shift v Altrincham and Gateshead, given we took 12 points off them last season, not to mention the 3 points we also took at home to Sutton.
And what about the other 19 teams who were in the division last season?
I agree, though, that I can't see such a spread at the top.

Whilst I didn't agree with the decision to make so many changes at Brackley to have 15 points from the first 6 games and be top of the league is fantastic. Ironically despite that decision by Jim he is likely to be awarded Manager of The Month for August. All in all well deserved.
