Another club with an egotistical prick for an owner, we really should be careful about what we wish for when ours get slated.

I've said before on here I really can't work out where my pathological hatred for Notts Florist came from as they were sort of the club my Dad followed when he was interested (he couldn't give a toss for modern football now).

Perhaps it was their lot regularly trying to chuck us in the canal?
Maybe it's down to one of my ex's being from Loughborough and wearing a Forest shirt in bed?
What I do know is they are up there with Leedscum in their snootiness and thinking the whole world revolves around them. They've got the owner they deserve and when his ticker gives up I think they may find debts the size of the island of Cyprus.

I wish them nothing but failure and hope they fall down to League One again soon.

Crikey. What a joke.

Their best manager since Clough potentially - and last season had a superb season, just missed out on qualifying for the Champions League.

Remember the chairman, coming onto the pitch, near the end of the season, to berate Nuno. I feel for Forest fans. We think we have problems....

Three games in. Nuno basically sacked because he went public suggesting his relationship with the owner had declined. I wonder why !!!

Perhaps this man could employ himself as the fitness director. He clearly knows best !!!!!

That incident is an interesting one.

He's claiming at the time he was not " a person of influence " as had passed his shares etc elsewhere.
This was due to Forest possibly making the Champions League and his interests in Olympicous (sp).

Palace fans up in arms as, if he was nothing to do with club ownership etc, why was he on the pitch and if not a person of influence at the club he should have been arrested for pitch invasion and banned from UL grounds for a while.

We don't really need anymore examples of how bent the game is but Forest give us loads - for instance all the transfer dealings between his clubs for prices that don't stack up but make FFP figures work allegedly.

Michael Beale is favourite for the job.

He is a great coach, in his own mind, and values loyalty.

Always thought Nuno was a class act and still do

Perhaps this may have been orchestrated a little. Signs a 3 year contract in June, and rumours that him and Gaspar don't get on, so leak of the rift between between himself and the owner... 3 weeks later get the tin tack and the compo, thank you very much

Well played sir... if this is the case... enter stage left Ange

To be fair to them, unlike 'champions of Europe' Leeds, they actually were Champions of Europe...twice!

Marinakis looking forward to the novelty and convenience of sacking a Forest manager in Greek.

The knock on effect of one agent muscling out another - Nuno represented by Jorge Mendes, has had Edu (represented by our old friend Kia Joorabchin) parachuted above him.

Right, because we would never do anything like this.

In fairness in the last 10 years, we’ve finished between 9th and 20th in the same league. Forest also finished 21st in the championship in the last 10 years. They are now in Europe after finishing 7th in the Premiership. Hardly comparable.

Working in Newark, surrounded by Forest fans. All true, completely self absorbed and genuinely believe they are one of the power houses of English football.

Speaking to these Forest fans, appears the chairman bringing Edu in as a DOF put Nuno's nose out and he has been wanting our ever since. Obviously wanting to be paid up he was never going to walk out, so has been making comments in interviews both nationally and locally until his position was untenable.

Think going from Nuno to Ange is very much out of the frying pan and into the fire.

May not like him or how he's done it, but he's taken them from a struggling championship side, with an aging stadium, average training ground and limited credibility, to a new training ground, developing the stadium, expanding the capacity, expanding the club franchise/community appeal with Netball teams etc, a raft of new players who know they'll be replaced if they don't perform, appointed an experienced and highly regarded DoF and they're in Europe and won't stop there.

I don't like how, but they're now considered an elite club again.

I'm surprised Nuno did't walk when he was chastised on the pitch. Not a surprising outcome. I suppose the vaguely Greek connection with Ange may work?

Never knowingly right.
