It's against QPR and talk on their forums suggest they want too take their protests to the next level by getting game abandoned. Could be interesting.

Clearly something about us visiting them - they had the pitchforks out when we got promoted there in 2004!

Plus ca change, Rodders...

So if they succeed in getting the game abandoned does anyone have any idea what happens.
Presumably we get awarded the three points?

Good luck to them. Some things bigger than 90 minutes.

Grimsby fans were supportive yesterday apparently.

They could leave just Bannon on the pitch and give us a chance of a draw.

I imagine there are a number of penalties available should a team be unable to fulfil a fixture and you can bet your life the least advantageous to us will be the outcome

More likely we'll be deducted points.... - just for being there....

Best of luck to them.

Glossary bell is ringing for an instance of QPR persecution complex.

I'm guessing there were others here who were also at the game there when there was a ban from the terraces.
There was only a few hundred of us back when Jack Charlton was manager there. Their fans had rioted a week or two earlier and that was their punishment. Typically the next home game was against us but Jim Gregory subsidised the difference between what we had paid for the terrace and the seat price.

Our luck is we would he given a 10 point deduction and be made to sell our new training ground to Wednesday.

And a second one here!

Don't people get tired of pretending that everyone's out to get us? It hasn't been remotely funny for years.

Especially as we were damn lucky not to have promotion taken away from us over the Faurlin episode.

Or points deductions for our egregious violations of league finance policies

I’m all for them getting the game abandoned IF we get three points and an automatic 3-0 win to us.

Hopefully a further points deduction for them as well.

Due to my passionate dislike for that club I have as much sympathy for them as those Wednesdayites I’ve come across would have for us.

Also…. I’m sure the vast majority of our fans who have paid out for travel and tickets would not welcome having to reattend on a Tuesday night and spending even more.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

It would be inconvenient but both those other things are refundable.

Nothing specific (due to legal implications i'd imagine) but this is the supporters trust website

I can't seem to open that for some reason.

I was wondering whether Wednesday supporters had considered calling for a league wide supporters boycott of their games? It would be an effective way to keep attention on their situation, and for supporters of other clubs to show solidarity

Away fans doing their bit at Hillsborough is one thing, Wednesday fans enacting their protests to the extent of trying to get games abandoned at other grounds seems a bit disrespectful. And I’m not just saying that because it’s ‘us’.

I think they have the sympathy of most other fans atm but that could easily change.
