As Spaceman P has abnegated his responsibility, let me have a crack. Only done one before and I think that was a win.
Draw'll do me.

Dembellend is getting on my nerves

I really want Dembele to work out for us but he’s frustrating. Gave the ball away badly there then stood and watched them break.

You must be watching another game to me.

Apparently so, if you didn't spot him throwing himself to the floor

Shit but local

This is going to be the third game in a row we haven't scored in open play, thats starting to be our problem isn't it?
Not creating the chances either.

Feels like everyone else has worked out our variation of 442 now and a way to negate it.

For those watching, how is Varane playing? Think he’s been poor this season and is getting an easy ride.

Smyth or Kolli to replace him.

Dembele has to come off for Smyth or Vale at HT

Definitely.

Marking Kone out the game too.

Can't be arsed to read through the six pages so far, but the post is "how shite is Dembele?". Discuss.

Can we go out yet?

This is going to be the third game in a row we haven't scored in open play and I can't remember creating the one decent chance across those either.

Not much to discuss. Same as the rest of the season so far - not creating much going forwards and a complete liability defensively

Shit but local

It's games like this that reveal how young and relatively inexperienced many of our players are. Coach will earn his corn in the dressing room at HT.

Is Dembele our new boo boy now Masden has started playing quite well? Its always good to know who to boo.

Not a bad choice though. He is having an epically bad day today...

Can we go out yet?

Varane loves to give a backward or sideward pass. Not impressed with his bravery this season so far after a few encouraging performances last season

Kone is very quiet and has been for a few games. I'm beginning to wonder if our long ball to Burrell game isn't helping him.

Weird half.

We looked God until the sloppy goal. Dembele again the weak link, get him off.
Madsen a level above everyone else.

Frustrating to go in behind as we were playing pretty well in patches over the opening half hour. When we bother to speed up the passing or go long we've giving them problems, but every one of our players' decision making has gone out of the window as soon as we've got in or near the Bristol area.

Despite all that, Bristol had by far the best chance of the match, skied over by Twine, and we gave them a goal by everyone across the back completely switching off to a well overhit cross they assumed was going out. Play to the whistle ffs

Shit but local

Bristol should be 2-0 up at HT. Twine ballooned a sitter over the bar earlier in the half

I know we are behind but, compared to the Oxford game, this is a much better showing.

If could wave the magic wand, I would wish for someone to release Saito early. There were a few occasions when he was wide on the touchline, with both Burrell and Kone central on the shoulder of their CBs, with about 35 yards to run into if Varane / Madsen / Esquerdinha had seen him. He'd have beaten his man to the first ball at least and then, who knows?

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

We anit done enough , we gotta up our game second half. 1-0 away from home at halftime isn't the end of the world we are still in this game .

I have to admit, most of the time I don't really see why people rave about Varane.

Was thinking the same.

i personally would switch to three behind Burrell with Smyth Vale and Saito behind

Kone been looking jaded and cant see Dembele offering anything in both forward moves and defensive structure also.

if still no joy can see Kolli getting a run out today.
