Ronaldo is infinitely dislikeable. A preening prick with a goal celebration that is just him modelling for a future statue that he thinks he deserves.
But of course he's an arrogant count. He's the best to have ever done it. I don't really watch any football these days that isn't QPR but I used to and I remember seeing him just single-handedly murder teams for fun.
Watching him demolish Inter Milan all night or a cup game against Everton where he was just dicking their dads the whole match. Unbelievable. I lost touch with his career after he left the Prem.
But he's not a real person. He's CR7 (yuck!). A fking brand. A hybrid of talent and marketing. But I'm glad I was around to see him at his peak nonetheless.
