Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc?

For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te?

Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull.

Clive, what do you think? Worth making a sticky? Might reduce the number of threads to manage.

win tomorrow and we are pretty much safe

Totally agree

Despite two late draws, the results were decent for us tonight

Plymouth and Portsmouth both getting negative results and a win for us and for me that's safety already.

Will it happen ??

Well all recent form and logic says we lose but it's one of those stupid games where suddenly out of nowhere we pick out a decent result and a decent performance out of nothing also....

I think we will beat Oxford !!!

We can draw our way to safety. Who needs to score?
Three more draws and I think we are good.

We did this in 97/98. Won one of our last 16 games and stayed up by drawing six in a row at the end.

6 weeks ago I’d pinned my hopes on Swansea and Preston being over the 50 point mark and on their Easter holidays. That’s unlikely to be the case now.

It’s a sad indictment that earlier every year I’m looking down the fixture list for potential beach based opposition to get us out of another hole.

Nakhi Wells doing Nakhi Wells things. 3 in 3.

Quality at this level . Worth every penny of the money they paid to get him .
Because of our poor record of selling players on .
We can’t make signings like this. Sad.

Good old Razor Ruddock and Vinnie Jones getting us over the line there...

As well as his Lord and Saviour Jamie Pollock of course!

Results last night could of been better and they could of been worse.

Avoid defeat tonight and it's another step towards safety.

It will also take some pressure of Saturday's game.

Yeah last night didn't change too much. We still need one more win.

Rowett will have his boys fired up for the win they need, it's not happening tonight.

This is QPR, we'll beat Burnley and Sunderland

Perhaps the lowest point of my QPR-supporting life was seeing Vinnie Jones wearing our kit. Always hated that man.

Jones and Ruddock taking turns to slam into stringy Kevin Francis once they realised the referee had lost his memory. Football at its finest.

We might beat Sunderland as they will probably rest players against us. What is more important? Beating us in the last meaningless game or winning the two legged play off that follows?

Plymouth 2 down at Swansea.

Make that 3. Portsmouth still 0-0.

Late goal for Cov means Pompey lose. A great set of results for us this midweek.

Cov seem to score an injury time winner every week!

That one against us was a real kicker.

The amount of times Coventry win games with the last kick I'm starting to wonder if it might be their year.

Plymouth losing at home. To Sheffield Utd, so no surprise.
If it stays that way, they can only get to 49 points. Tha same as us but they have a far worse GD.
