Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc?
For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te?
Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull.

I just think with Farke, he won the division in pretty fine style with Norwich twice, then both times they went into the Prem and it was a disaster.
I don't think it's as crazy as it sounds to replace him at this point.

There's a massive gulf between the top of the Championship and the Premier League now, so any team going up is going to struggle. Look at the three promoted sides this year, all relegated a long time before the end of the season, none of them even managed to put up a fight.
I just don't really understand the logic behind the idea that a manager is great in one division, but then suddenly becomes useless with the same players in a different division.
A good example is Kompany, he was a good championship manager, but then apparently wasn't any good in the Premier League. But now suddenly he's about to win the Bundesliga with Bayern, so it really was all about having good enough players to compete at the top level. |  | | |

Yeah, they were fking appalling in victory. Constant abuse on the way out of the ground and as we were leaving the car park and on the way out of town.
Then you have the hotel alarm incident, refusal to play the national anthem, insisting on having the home kit and dressing room because they genuinely considered themselves to be the home team.

All fanbases have their nutters and morons. Cardiff are no different, except possibly they have a few more than most.
I won't ever forget leaving the Millenium Stadium, admittedly, but was that really their fans? Surely their fans were in the stadium celebrating straight after the final whistle. Local rent a yob more like.
Also - I am sure I wasn't the only one walking away from Wembley post Zamora who saw our own "fans" giving the Derby coaches a pretty vile send off. You can't judge fan bases on days like these, when 20,000 more suddenly appear from nowhere.
I am much more concerned about Wrexham being in our league with all their hangers on and the media obsession. I am really hoping that the Championship brings them down to earth with a bang.

If only they sacked him off a game earlier. Real shame they're not going to make it. If they had QPR last game, they may have had a chance of turning the GD around 😆.

Intrigued what Wrexham do now. Lots of players there who were needed to get them up but probably aren’t still up to this level. Deep pockets but how deep for this league? | | | |
