Rest of the Championship thread 11:07 - Aug 10 with 339259 views | Hunterhoop | Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc? For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te? Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull. Clive, what do you think? Worth making a sticky? Might reduce the number of threads to manage.

Cardiff, Luton and Derby? We'd have to move Christmas Day.

So we have 0% chance of being relegated but can still be relegated according to this image. That clears that up...

I think it’s something like 0.01% and they didn’t have enough decimal places

Jimmy Dunne would have scored about four goals if he were playing for Derby today. They've battered Luton this half but no one can put the ball in the net.

Whatever happens in today's match with Preston we're guaranteed to be at least 7 points clear of the drop zone with 3 to play. Hopefully, we'll be mathematically safe with a win at Deepdale. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I reckon that they are so traumatized by their last couple of visits to the "Promised land"...they don't want to go up. Southampton might feel the same way next season too. All three who go up will continue the recent trend of dropping straight back again. It's a painful experience...if a financially pleasant one.

Wednesday have been on the beach for a few weeks so usually form vanishes when that happens. Look at Norwich today letting in 5 at home to Pompey who have been poor away.
Rest of the Championship thread on 19:32 - Apr 18 with 3474 views | bosh67 | I live in Luton and so a few of my friends here are local fans. My mate here said they played really well first half and Derby were terrible and then in the second half he said he aged a 100 years watching them cling on. I get that completely. It is now fascinating to watch from our easy chair what happens in that bottom 3. It's the bottom 5 now to be honest. I think Plymouth may have had it but any of the 4 above them could go. It will be interesting to see what happens between Luton and Bristol City on Monday. If Bristol win it they pretty much cement their play off place. If Luton win it I reckon they'll escape.

Ah fukkit. I quite fancied a bottom three of Portsmouth, Luton and Cardiff. Still, see ya, Chrissie.
| I need a SAGA. What’s the SAGA? It’s ….. Queen’s Park Rangers. |

Boro not capitalising on Cov losing despite being a goal up at Sheffield Wednesday is horrendous. Luckily for them they go to Cov on the last day so have a chance if they win on Saturday. All the bottom sides winning except Cardiff who had as winnable a game as they could have hoped for with some new manager bounce. They’re basically gone. Poor old Plymouth can’t catch a break.

Thought it was brilliant watching the scores coming in this afternoon other fans moan about the quality of the Championship but nobody can question the unpredictability that makes it soo much better than the PL.

Just seen Hull have Derby on Saturday. Would’ve been a great TV pick if Sky weren’t quite so obsessed with three clubs.
Rest of the Championship thread on 20:21 - Apr 21 with 1970 views | Hunterhoop | You’d think from here Plymouth and Cardiff are done for. The latter couldn’t win their easiest game. The former have too much to do. For that last place anyone up to Preston are in danger. Luton have Bristol City and Coventry, which is tough on paper, but both those seem to be doing their best to bottle the top 6 currently.
