Stoke City v Queens Park Rangers- match thread hi 15:38 - Mar 28 with 30990 viewsMyke

I looked at the threads (admittedly without my glasses) and couldn't see one. If there is I shall withdraw gracefully. If not then 1-1 Frey

With that team, 2-0 Stoke.

Who's Petrie?

Could also be the dyslexic Dr Who

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Even worse than expected.
No Frey, no strikers, no goals.

I'd have put a small wager on Harry Murphy being released this Summer, not on the bench for the first team.

If Dembele jumps on Smyth’s shoulders they’re the size of Frey

I'd be happy with a draw, but think we'll struggle.

It's not a great team but is it that bad?

Decent defence, average midfield. The problem will be scoring goals but what's new?!

If we remain disciplined and are up for the fight then we can grab a point. Big if's I know.

Maybe.

We’d be better off switching Edwards to RB and putting Jimmy Dunne up front.

I’ve always thought this was winnable, 0 - 2 Andersen in the first half and whoever replaces him for the second half. I’d like to see Petrie score.

Literally no fit centre forward. There needs to be a complete lessons learnt regarding this season and people should be losing their jobs (perhaps those in Dubai).

Who's Petrie?

If I could have one wish come true today, it would be that he comes on to score the only goal of the game.

Then we can look forward to a match report entitled: "A vital win for Rangers as Stoke are Petrie-fied".

Ah, there's my taxi now

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Another reason to have Kelman on board for next season. Not only does he know where the goal is but he also seems to stay fit and available.

The fans could forsee this in July it never had a chance of working with the physical demands of this league. A team needs 5 or 6 strikers/forwards to get through a season succesfully and we had 2 proven ones ( not sure about that ) and 2 rookies who are too green to deliver in the heat of battle on a regular basis .
We blew the January window IMO knowing we were starting to get hot and a proven goalscorer would have made a massive difference .
Frey was shooting well in the training pictures the fact he felt something is just more of the same sh*t we were not ready in this area since june

I can't get fawanews just now, anyone else having any luck?

We're already playing with 10 men with Andersen out there.
I hope I am wrong but it just baffles me when certain players who are clearly not up to it get starts.

I was about to ask the same.

It's telling me that "the event will be starting shortly".

Lloyd is a striker and is fit again, but he's on the bench.

I hear what you're saying but we do have three out injured all at once. Ideally, though, the development squad would have more than just one striker - Lloyd - of the requisite quality available to step in.
