Bignot was absolutely shocking as a footballer for us. Never rated him. Padula was ok, but nothing special. Apparently Furlong nearly came back to us in January if Dunne went. I heard a rumour that Furlong has a son who is either in our academy or is about to join hence the desire to move. |

Loved that whole team. I’d say Bignot was a steady player. Not spectacular but had his role and did it well. Met him once and seemed a very nice bloke. Didn’t realise he’s now Holloway’s assistant. [Post edited 28 Apr 22:40]

The data says that Darnell is a great thrower and header of the ball, therefore we should expect him to do both in the same set piece, saving money and optimising the squad by throwing the ball

I don’t think you can but they change the rules often enough that is worth exploring.
VAR could then allow it for midweek games and stop it at the weekend. | |

Would be great if he did come back, but other than the emotional attachment why would he? Plenty of other better clubs he could go to. And I can't imagine his weekly wage is cheap. |  |

I'd be very happy if Darnell came back. Very solid, experienced Championship defender (roughly 300 games for us and West Brom at this level) and still not yet 30. He would very easily slot into the captaincy when Cook eventually leaves. |  |

No chance he is coming back.
Be too expensive for us, too old given our current purchasing strategy and he has been solid for WBA, if he leaves them, he is at the very least having a sideways move.
Unfortunately as things stand, we would be a step down for him.
Also we got rid of him.
Just because his dad is here, what else is there to suggest reasons why he starts
here next season

Wouldn't be a bad option on our budget though, and comes with an actual long throw which for quite some time now has been the only time we ever look like scoring a goal. |  | | |
